The countdown begins for the most anticipated Style Awards and Runway Show in Nigeria, the 3^RD GLAM & ESSENCE STYLE & RUNWAY SHOW, 2014, powered by Glam and Essence magazine, published by Ms. Susan Eyo Honesty.if the 1^st and 2^nd Glam & Essence Awards Shows are anything to go by, we have much to be excited about for the coming event.

The 3RD GLAM & ESSENCE STYLE AWARDS & RUNWAY SHOW event rewards outstanding individuals and fashion labels, beauty brands and personalities within the country annually, whose contributions to the fashion & beauty sector has impacted and strengthened the social fabric.

The objectives of this event is to host an awards event which celebrates and rewards the best men and women who have contributed to the style sector in Nigeria with pomp and glamour. Also, it is to create a platform that gives fashion & beauty brands the opportunity to be differentiated and to connect with their audience.

The Style and Runway Awards Show which is slated to hold on the 23rd of November, 2014 at the prestigious 10 Degrees Event Center, Billingsway, Ikeja, Lagos, would be a glamorous evening event with the crème de la crème of the society on the guest list, with Special Guest of Honour being the First Lady of Lagos State, Dame Abimbola Fashola.

This year, awards will be given in categories such as Designers of The Year Category with awards for five designers whose creativity has set them apart in their chosen area of designing. Special Recognition Awards such as the

 Lifetime Achievement Awards for Fashion, 

Beauty as well as the Style Icon Award. Other awards include 

Style Personality of the Year, 

Most Stylish Male Entertainer, 

Most Stylish Female Entertainer, 

Young Style Diva, 

Most Stylish Media Presenter, 

Make-Up Artist of the Year, 

Most Outstanding Beauty Spa, 

Most Outstanding Fashion Brand, 

Most Outstanding Beauty Company, 

Most Outstanding Jewelier of the Year, 

Beautician of the Year, 

Fastest Growing Fashion Brand, 

Style Personality of the Year, 

Most Supportive Media for Fashion and Beauty, 

2014 Man of Style. 

Also, 3 distinguished women will be celebrated with Special Honours as Female Game Changers in their different industries. This year’s award recipients are from the Events Designing and Planning Sector, as well as Fashion Designing.

Showcasing at the event are these top designing houses; Ade Bakare, Trish O Couture, Loisonell Couture, House of Marie, and the only Jewelier to hit the runway would be Bimbeads.

The style awards event starts at 4p.m with red carpet/cocktail and the show kicks-off at 5.30p.m. Dress code is glamorous and attendance is strictly by invitation.
