Fashion VS Football - Daniel Amokachi And Lanre Dasilva Ajayi Set To Lock Horns On Moments With MO.

Popular fashion designer, Lanre da Silva and ex-Nigerian footballer, Daniel Amokachi are set to lock horns over the superiority of their individual passions.

The debate over the inclination of Nigerians to fashion or football took a new dimension on Saturday as Dolapo Oni announced the two main actors in the drama will be guests on the famed talk show, Moments with Mo.

The show will be aired live on Ebony TV today Monday,3rd of November by 6.30pm. It is anticipated that both professionals will be armed to the teeth with facts to prove the other wrong.

The show will give the two professionals who are madly passionate about their respective crafts, an opportunity to go head-to-head on cable TV and prove why any is superior.

Amokachi made an appearance to Lagos Fashion Week on Thursday, October 30, wearing a Tshirt with the inscription "GoFootball No Apologies".

The debate was started by Silva who claimed on a Channels Television interview recently that fashion was the next big thing and was superior to football. Replying her on Twitter and later on sports radio, Brilla FM, Amokachi countered her claims, with the former striker being quoted as saying, "It will take decades for fashion to meet football."

Both have argued separately on different platforms and they have both agreed to do a debate to throw more light on the issue.

Lanre Da Silva Ajayi in response also made a statement at the Lagos Fashion Week on Saturday where she showed her new collection of designs and her models wearing GoFashion Tshirt.

The conversation continues #GoFootball and #GoFashion.

*If you ask me,I think fashion and football are kind of like conjoined siamese twins so therefore,it should be #GoFootballGoFashion.

What you think? Please share your view.I will bring you a feedback of this debate between Daniel and Lanre.

  3. I don't see what the argument is about.

different people, different passion. I love fashion, I hate football.

but the world loves football, many just throw clothes over their body to cover their nakedness not necessarily that us has to be voguish.

what ever matters to you...pick the interest.

  4. Stella: the match between bayern munich & borussia dortmund was shown live in 218 countries in the world with 75,000 people in the allianz arena, tv audience was above 500,000,000 homosapiens!

Can someone name one fashion show that has ever achieved this.

Football is in the top 3 sources of income in England as a whole.

In Nigeria of all places in the world i don't think this debate should even hold between primary school pupils.
