Doctors In House Section On A Fine Saturday.

God is the Master healer and Docs are just tools in his hands......

PROBLEM 1
SAGGING OLYMPUS AND MENSTRAL PAIN

Good morning All,I am an ardent reader but do not really comment (but sometimes comments under anonymous).Firstly,I have very sagging boobs like someone who has given birth and it's really disturbing because I am a virgin.

I find it difficult to undress where my friends are (like hostels). Please is there anything I can do about it?

Secondly,I usually have serious pains whenever I have my period,I take Felvin and felxicam but I was told that drugs is not good, please what do I use instead of drugs?

.............................................................................................................

PROBLEM 2
FARTING STOMACH

Good day everyone,

Please,i really need medical advice from BVs . My name is Tina *****.I left ‎ Nigeria in September and since then, i've been having this very embarrassing very loud stomach noise. A friend initially told me it's normal, that it happened to most people she knows that arrived here and stops in not more than 2 weeks. She said it's because I just left hot weather in naija to meet winter here.

I relaxed, thinking it will stop but it has refused to. I've seen my GP severally and I've been given several drugs, yet no way. I decided to seek for help here because the most embarrassing happened day before yesterday, I was in a bus stop and all of a sudden, my stomach let out this long loud noise and everybody in the bus stop gave me this disdainful look thinking I gassed. I felt like, let the ground open and swallow me.
Yesterday again, I was in class and same thing happened, this time even louder than day before yesterday and my classmates were surprised, some were even laughing and didn't believe when I told them it's my stomach not my anus. I take enough fruits and stool normally, so I'm totally confused about where this embarrassing noise is coming from. Please, help!!!

shuo!

    1. Hello poster one, about d menstrual pain, u can take lemon water instead. I.e get warm water, squeeze in d juice from lemon and drink. But to save urself this stress, 4-5days before ur menses comes, stay away from sugar , sweet tns and too much carbohydrates.. Eat lots of fruits on those 5days.. Ur menses wud be near painless.

    2. Poster 2, what you are experiencing is very normal. Happened to me throughout my 1yr stay abroad. I think its just cos you are eating something different from what your stomach was used to. When my stomach rumbled in class then I just laugh and say 'guess who's hungry again'
Don't take it too seriously, there's no cause for alarm

    3. Poster 2, like ama said stay away from sugary stuff some days to ur period.
      2. Stop taking felvin and all the other harsh pain killers, you would just notice that the pain would be even more during your next cycle. Take paracetamol instead.
      3. Go for a scan. Fibroids are the number 1 culprit for painful menstruation.

Poster 1: Pls stop taking Felvin, its not good..i used to take it until a matron told me to stop it..she told me to use Panadol or paracetamol whenever I have cramps and that I should avoid drinking cold water whenever am on my period and take warm water. I asked her about sugary stuffs and she said it has little or no effect. I have been doing this since March last year whenever I have cramps and it has helped. You can also get like a water bottle, put hot water in it,lie on your back and place the bottle on your stomach or use to massage your stomach, that helps too. Pls stop using Felvin.

    2. Sagging breasts can be hereditary, as is my case. Am a 36DD and they sag. I recently had surgery & lost tremedous weight, don't think I've been that ashamed of them as I was. Even joked to the Doc I needed to get them reduced. I've gained back the weight and they don't look so bad anymore. It's pointless going under the knife now, wait till you've had your babies. You can then do that for aesthetic sake. Otherwise, a guy that truly cares about you, won't be that concerned about how they stand. Besides, how well do you carry yourself?

Its called vega fem capsules and Gel. No scientific effect. it will make ur breast full and firm even tone ur cleavage. Google Vee Excel India. its a Dietary supplement. U have to use for Three months. it works like magic even women that has given birth use it and it works. I feel your pain. for ur PMS its a normal thing nothing will stop it when u go to hospital u will be given analgesic but still it won't stop the pain the best thing u stop any drugs the pain won't kill you. saying from experience when I was still single my PMS for the first two days I feel so irritated and cancel all activities plus heavy flow. but when I got married started having kids the pain reduced but its well the Lord is your strength

I had a friend with similar problem but not a virgin oh! she was in India got a dietary supplement used it for 3 months and it worked for her, made her boobs fuller and firm even her cleavage. with no scientific effect

Poster one, hot water massage can help reduce menstrual pain,i used to be a candidate, took drugs almost throughout my teen years, but when I heard of the negative effect, I opted for hot water therapy. All u need do is most importantly avoid sugary things some days to your flow, then when it eventually comes, get hot water massager, lie down and press on your tummy for a long time,it sure helps... then for the sagging boobs,it comes natural in some peeps, there is no permanent solution except surgery. Just ensure you wear good bras.

    Poster 2, reduce milk intake.

  45. About the menstrual cramps, like was stated earlier, the only remedy without drugs is to boost your vitamin c intake either through eating plenty fruits days b4 your flow or u take vitamin C supplements. Trust me it will reduce the pains drastically. What causes cramps during menstrual flow is the drop of calcium in a woman's body so with the help of vitamin c, it helps to replenish these lost calcium in the bones et al.

That's how I was consuming this cow milk indiscriminately & I ended up having to hv a myomectomy for fibroids that were minute in Nigeria but grew to gigantic proportions within a yr in the Uk because of the high oestrogen content. My dear, I reacted badly to the milk, a way out is to get cow milk alternatives like almond milk by Alpro, you can get it at Asda.Soya is not really that good because it also contains lots of oestrogen. Additionally, you can go to your GP & request for an ultrasound so they can check what's going on in there.... God bless

  51. The Person with the growling stomach, I had the same issue when I left Nigeria, I was so disturbed that I went to my school clinic but they said nothing was wrong with me. Then I visited Nigeria and it ceased, that's when I realized that the liquid milk I was taking was responsible. I refuse to cut milk out of my diet so I substituted with powdered milk and that has shut my stomach up for the past 4 years. You remove milk from your diet entirely or try taking only powdered milk and see what happens.

For poster 2. From experience, the problem with your bloating and noisy stomach maybe as a result of diet because of Change of location. I will advice you for now to avoid any food that contains gluten. Go to google and find out all the foods that contain gluten especially processed carbohydrate, pastries, whole wheat foods. There is a possibility that you are gluten intolerant. And when you want to buy any edible from the stores check the label whether it contains gluten.
