Charles Bruce,Celebrated radio host and relationship coach of ‘Sharing Life Issues’ with Chaz B on Rhythm FM has died.
He succumbed to kidney failure this morning November 22,2014 after a long battle .

ReplyDeleteI was shocked when I heard this news. Chaz B has actually touched so many lives. I try to listen to his programme anytime I am on my way home from work, depending on my mood though. The one that endeared me to him was when a man called into the station to complain that his wife's phone rang around 11pm and she did not pick it. And he was very angry that maybe it seemed the wife was having an affair in his absence, coz he works as a driver outside town. He wanted to raise fire and brimstone on the woman. Chaz B on enquiring further about his relationship with his wife, the man admitted that he had not given her money for 3months, and he had not been paid for 2months, meanwhile he has five kids.Chaz B now said 'my guy, why don't you concentrate more on providing food and money for your wife, my guy, that phone call should be the least of your problem coz any woman might fall into that temptation, that is if it seemed like what he was suspecting.That when he has done all that, he can start worrying about a mere phone call that might not mean anything. And the man was so happy with the advice and promised to work harder to provide for his home.

ReplyDeletePhcn had taken light and my kids were fiddling with the radio as usual and landed on rythm fm and i heard a very soothing voice talking to a lady who was confessing the adulterous life she was living behind her husband, infact my first instinct was annoyance with the lady but after listening to his advice and the way Chaz B spoke to the lady i felt sorry for her and fell in love with the easyygoing nature of Chaz B and i knew he sounded just the way Jesus would have sounded.

It was pure applicable Christian wisdom. Thinking back now, could it be one of the reasons Chike stood in for him those times? He was a great man. RIP Chaz B.

You taught us about God and how He hated gay/lesb, that even if the whole world said it was good that our God condemned it. He taught us how to love our spouses, shun infidelity and always reminded us that the devil is out to destroy families that we have to pray for our marriages. I knew he was battling with failing health but i never knew his end would come soon. I admired him from his programme on Rhythm FM which i listened to regularly on my way home everyday.
