I just asked a friend who is from the yoruba tribe, ijebu to be precise why yoruba's would have nothing to eat at home, not even garri to drink but yet they will go and borrow money for a party(Ino owo) and he said his dad once told him that if you meet an ijebu man and ask for financial help he would turn you down, but if you tell him your old woman just kicked the bucket, he would borrow you borrow enough and even more for the party(Ino owo).
