Somewhere in South-South of Nigeria, some group of young doctors, took out time from their jammed up schedule and came together to mark the independence day with grace and style.
They relished the works of our heroes past by watching short video clips that had rich contents of our heritage, history and motivational talks were giving by Dr Osazee and Dr Cashmir, for a people who do not know where they come from are those who do not understand where they are headed to...
Games such as; greetings in our mother's tongue by different members in the audience and 'who wants to be a Nigerian?' Was taken up by Dr Baba Mujidat and Dr Missy Kenny Adinnu, it was a fantastic moment as members of the audience displayed their cultural heritage.
A closing prayer ended the day and our national item was sang with Euphoria, the audience left fulfilled, educated and motivated to change Nigeria for the best.
This event was spear headed by Dr Beatrice Nwalie whose vision is for a better Nation. She is a doctor and a historian who has a burning passion for a better Nigeria. This group of doctors are social revolutionaries who are bent on making this country a desirable nation.
They concluded by saying they want a better Nigeria and it is their new demand from the government. They are responsible for a lot of other charity works around the south- east and South- south regions. They believe Nigerian will get better and they are moving towards sensitising the whole nation.
Yes oo, Nigeria can and will be better than what it currently is. We have the responsibility to make that happen. It's not all doom and gloom
ReplyDeleteAtleast some citizens still understand the need to celebrate Nigeria. Not wait until government gives you rice and fowl before you celebrate. Ah mean...good.
