    1. But they are not supposed to collect money from anyone now. Leave the names of the people that collected money from people, they will have to answer to that.

    2. Actually there's a fine of 20k if u blow ur horn around a school, hospital, govt building or security house.

Lagosians were patient with thr driving and noise was less, but danfo drivers can never change sha o.

But it went well and it was a good intiative.

I used my horn 2 times, a car in front of me was backing up, see as i scatter ground, then i got home and my gateman was missing, after waiting for few minutes, i had to scatter with horn oh. Nice initiative though, because really noise pollution needs to be controlled. Sola

  25. Hahahaha infact, immediately i can out of my street to the road i used the horn and quickly realised 'it's no horn day' and i maintain until i got to Apapa area and danfo want to jump to my front i quickly used the horn again. In another occassion i used it to draw someones attention who was rying to revised his car in my front.
The 'No Horn day' makes one more concious of driving.

    1. Someone was trying to "revise" his car "in your front"???? You know you don't have to comment right?

  26. I also will like to know how they coped because Nigerians are very noisy people.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It wasn't a success but I noticed that there was a consciousness in my area; most people didn't use their horns but by the time I got to work, it was noise pollution everywhere. I personally think the publicity was poor and we can do better.
