Epic Disgrace - NFA Sacks Stephen Keshi.

The Nigeria Football Federation, has relieved Stephen Keshi of his duties as coach of the Super Eagles and replaced him with another former handler, Shuaibu Amodu.
Amodu will lead a consortium of coaches for Nigeria’s final two 2015 Africa Cup of Nationa qualifiers against Congo and South Africa.

Shuaibu Amodu

According to reports, a foreign manager will then be appointed to lead the team.

The decision to let Keshi go was taken after the NFF Executive Committee met on Wednesday night, after the Eagles battled to a 3-1 win over Sudan in Abuja. According to a source, the meeting was held ‘in the interest of Nigerian football and the desire to ensure qualification for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals’.

At the meeting, Keshi, whose two-year contract expired after the 2014 World Cup and his technical and backroom staff were axed. Salisu Yusuf, Gbenga Ogunbote and Alloy Agu will now work with Amodu for the last two matches of the qualifying series.

*I think that Kesha over played his joker card and I dont feel sorry that he was asked to go.He held the team and some members to ransom and was too unforgiving. Now ikechukwu Kalu can be brought back into the team to take his position. No man is indispensable.Word!

    1. Today is 16th October 2014, Please join 2unemployed girls in welcoming 50000 youth corp members and Stephen Keshi into the labour market

If you are a secondary student (without connections) reading this, go and ask your headmaster for a refund of your school fees cos there are no white collar jobs in Nigeria. Use the money to launch your own spare parts shop.

If you're in the university and your CGPA is currently less than 1.0, don't feel bad, Nigeria's unemployment market is no respecter of CGPA!!!

If you're CPGA is 3.5 and above, carry on with the midnight oil. The Lord shall be your strength in this labour market.

      If you are a parent reading this, our CVs are in the database of your company and you ignored us because;

      1. You don't want entry level applicants! 2. You would rather employ your half sister's husband's nephew's girlfriend!
      3. You don't advertise your vacancies so that we won't see it and collect salary from your company's revenue. That's wickedness!

We are tired of remixing our cover letter and cv's in Igbo, Hausa and yoruba yet no reply from companies!

We are tired of waking everyday to trek from Ojota to Badagry to submit CV to gatemen of companies!

We are tired of having only kobos in our account!
We are tired of filling dormant career pages of companies!

Literally, we are professional corporate hunters cos all we do is job hunt!
If we are not working for your company, you are wrong!
Physically, our paperwork says we are inexperienced but spiritually, we are experienced hires.
Sirs and Madams, age and weight are not on our side!

We speak on behalf of every talented unemployed citizen in Nigeria!

WHO ARE WE? TWO SMART, UNEMPLOYED GIRLS! (FRESH GRADUATES OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION)
WHAT DO WE NEED? A JOB!
WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW!
THE INTERNET WOULD KNOW NO PEACE TILL OUR NEEDS ARE MET!

  12. Keshi's idionsyncracies was what was initially sought after by the NFF. However, the tizziness within that farcical manifold of recalcitrant men is what keshi weaved into at the end of the day. The problem is still very conspicuous and i havent seen a man excel without principles. Is it keshi's fault or not?or is it the failure of the NFF to keep its head above water?...lets all take a sit.

  13. What's Epic disgrace there, no be the same Nigerian Government that has sacked every coach in history either foreign or local. They will hire a new one and sack him soon, any coach working for Nigeria knows that he will be sacked one day

    ReplyDelete
  14. This is ridiculous...commenters here obviously know nothing about football. We have just kissed our Nations Cup qualification Goodbye #cluelessNFF

    ReplyDelete
  15. What is the epic disgrace? That he was sacked? There is no disgrace in that. It is the nature of the game and can happen to any coach, even the best of them as football lovers well know. He won the Afcon for Nigeria, which is no mean feat and qualified Nigeria for the world cup. There is no disgrace at all, rather, he can hold his head high and move on to the next level

    ReplyDelete
  16. Eeyah, he should have left when the ovation was loud now, why did he wait to b disgraced like ds? Remember after d world cup, he made it look like other countries were jumping head over heels 4 him, only 4 him to relax with d Nigerian team and when he least expected, kpap! A sack!!! Anyways goodluck to him in his future career.

  19. Always leave when the ovation is loudest. For me I prefer the word "RESIGN" to "SACK". He will be hired again when his man heads NFF. Amodu was fired before too.

  20. From frypan to fire!

Must it revolve around these 2 always?!
