How much is put into d show n how much is gained from d show? Wether d show contains nudity or not does not mean it should be scrapped. When it's big brother season, channel 197 n 198 is non functional. Only interested viewers ask for d channels to be opened on their decoders viewing. If u re not interested, then keep ur channels non functional n stop blabbing. So those that are interested to watch, should not cos some people wants it scrapped? Those calling for BBA to be scrapped are funny, cos it's not even gonna happen. At 30+, I should be free as an adult to view what I want on my decoder. A subscription I pay with my own money. Stella, point of correction, BBA makes much more money @end of every yearly show, than the amount of money used to put up d show. If for instance, it's cost a million to start up d big brother show? @d end of d show, it organisers makes up to 5million( example). So it's a cool venture for Mnet. ReplyDeleteI only wish they have more privacy when it comes to stuff like the bathroom. I wish there are no cameras in the bathrooms so people don't have to watch them shower.
Apart from the entertainment the show offers. I have learned that we all act alike despite the fact we are from different countries with different cultures and values.
I get to see people's characters, how they react under pressure, how far they are willing to go to win, how mischievous, desperate, conning, greedy, manipulative, selfish, kind, loving and emotional people can really be.
Most importantly the big brother show has
made me aware of the fact that a lot of our youths all over the continent are sexually irresponsible to a fault.
This goes to show that the patents, teachers, government and religious leaders are not doing their jobs well.
We need to really look into this fact which the show has brought to light and tackle it Asap!
Finally I get to comment on this post, YES I believe big brother should be completely scrapped. It has lost its essence in the sense that When it started it was about bringing different people from different backgrounds, language, believe, religion, ethics etc to come together and live. It was a way of saying no matter all these we can all live together and achieve a common goal as a FAMILY in the house and building strong bonds. But right now big brother is about who can expose his or her body, good kisser, first to Fuck who and u name it all. It has no Positive value for the society. I was @ work and my colleague was just on the shower section all Tru. The big brother of today is all about immortality, there is no positive talk in the house unlike the days of Bayo the guy who represented Nigeria wen the show started, everybody had something meaningful to say and doing at that time and in a way educated the young. For me, big brother should STOP!!!
