Arik Air SOS

Attention Arik Air.

I think this is wrong if it is true and should be addressed ASAP.

Hello Stella
How are you doing and I hope this email met you well.
Just want to draw your attention to what has been happening in arik air for some years now and now we have decided to use the media to stop this modern day slavery and I really wish if u can actually publish this and people can see the wrong doings of Arik air and how bad the staffs are been treated in so called biggest airline in Nigeria

I'm a pilot in arik air and I haven't been paid for two months and no reason why from the management of Arik air

Only the expertraites got paid just because they are experts Note: expertraites work for 6 months and get paid for 12 months why we local pilots and cabin crew work sweat and blood for 12 months and get paid for 11 months and with the look of things it's gonna be 10 months this year

Tax fraud is another thing with arik air, been working for the company for about 2 and half years BT tax clearance certificate can't be given

Pension fraud is a big issue certain percentage is bn deducted from my salary every month and not paid into my pension account.

Save our soul would really appreciate if you actually consider this and help us publish this for the world to see only then I'm sure things gonna work out well

Let's stop SLAVERY In our country''.

*Arik Air,please feel free to contact me to issue your own press release or to debunk this.Thank you.

  10. Arik cannot debunk stella, it is true. all my friends don run comot finish.

Arumemi-Ikhide has a white-man-slave-mentality. he gives preference to expatriate who does nothing but get paid 30,000 dollars while the Nigerians who do the job, slaving day and night are being owed for months.

how much does he pay drivers? less than 40k. the other day one slumped and died - a family man. working tirelessly with no off days.

why do you think cabin crews steal on board/on air?

why do you think Ticketing officers do shady deals and loot lots of cash???

why do you think female air hostess seduce rich passengers for complimentary cards and possible dates??

    they need to survive!!!!!

Arik is really messed up. Fact!

Is it really advisable to start after 6weeks or r all ds celebs decieving us wt flat tummy after few weeks of delivery. Thnks

    1. It is very possible to regain your shape if it's in your gene immediately after delivery.
However most of these celebs lie and go tru routine doctors will never agree to. If you deliver naturally you can start slowly...don't over do it cos it took you 9months to gather all d weight.
If you did cs like myself pls take it easy...cos it's a major surgery.
Also if you are breastfeeding exclusive, you'll still add more weight so take it easy with the exercise....walking, cycling and swimming is good!
Btw you are still recovering your body immunity...so don't kill yourself!...Love yourself and remember the stretch and fat plus all the stress brought your little joy into the world. Peace#

Ps: those celebs have personal trainers..some of them nip and tuck immediately after child birth...but it is so do able the right way...wish you a fab body! Lol

    3. Don't do it yet if u had a c section.
If it's normal birth, yes, u can start but don't over do it. Remember you are breastfeeding

    4. I started gyming after 7 weeks. I had normal birth. If CS wait till some few more weeks. I gymed but ate well cause I was breastfeeding. At the gym I focused mainly on cardio( skipping, crosstrainer and bycicle) for 3 months. Then I started on my tummy after 3 months. I am back to shape now after about a year. So it will take time cause u have to eat well and feed ur baby till 1 yr. All the best. Don't give up. Skipping is good if u can motivate urself at home and try sit up. Save gym money for now.

    3. Anon 11:52 ....u are so insensitive. Why should an airline as big as Arik owe her employees in the first place? These people have responsibilities and people they fend for. So how do they expect them to survive without salary? People who get their salaries paid regularly are still trying hard to make ends meet, let alone those who are not paid.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Treating people like slaves in their own country isn't just wrong, it's the height of wickedness & evil. Dear Arik Air, you've been given the benefit of the doubt, speak out now or forever be damned for mal-treating your staff. Meanwhile, isn't there supposed to be like a pilots' association before whom matters such as this can be tabled coz I fear the airline might decide to punish its Nigerian pilots for exposing the rot going on there.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The annoying part is that they pay your foreign counterparts, that's not fair to be honest, this should be stopped.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It's not just Pilots that aren't paid as at when due. Cabin crew staff and ground operations staff perpetually have their salaries delayed! Tell me if there won't be a greater urge for these staff to defraud the company!? I know Arik has tried by taking a lot of job applicants off the market, but they can do better and pay salaries early enof!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Only 2 months late?! Arik is improving, I must say

    ReplyDelete
  45. This is so true. The management at arik are very wicked I have a friend who works there as a ticketing officer and she says the same thing. Their pay is not constant. My worry is if it has gotten to the pilots how safe is it. Knowing that the people who are operating these machines are not in a good state of mind. This I believe is enough for the NCAA and the ministry of aviation to look into this information

    ReplyDelete
  46. Business Hallmark and This Day still rank tops in mistreatment of personnel. Nigerian entrepreneurs are sick, every single one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Nigerians complain about maltreatment in their country. Why? Imagine the so-called pilots being owed 2 months salaries in arrears and they are still flying. SMH. The day you people have a meeting, go on strike unannounced and let management fly the planes themselves, then you sure will get paid. ARIK is not enslaving you, you are enslaving yourselves. People are just crazy! Person dey owe person for 6 months, and the person still dey go work with lamentations while still making money for the employers. STOP WORKING and be a man for crying out loud!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Is it only Arik? Come to Orange Drugs Ltd n see worst tinz. Stupid asswipes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I won't blame the white man, why? because there are black men in those companies that are in top positions, what have they done to protect the interest of the black man? Once they have been taken care of they forget their own. In Europe if a company belongs to a black man the white in top position won't allow you treat his people any how, even their laws won't allow you. Nigerians should start asking themselves questions and stop blaming the white man.

    ReplyDelete
  50. This is indeed sad and dangerous too. Arik spends more money on any kind of publicity that will put them in the limelight as the best airline, whereas their staff are being owed since forever.

No wonder their cabin crew and ground staff keep stealing from their passengers' luggage. This has happened to me twice! Anyday I think of it, I feel like suing them ( but we all know how our legal system in Nigeria is ). I swore never to fly them again, but there are no other options. For instance, Abuja to Enugu route has just one flight everyday and it's an Arik flight. So I had no choice than to fly Arik again. Sad!

I also noticed recently that their pilots fly so rough that you'd think he just had a very nasty fight with someone. I'm beginning to think the nasty fight is with their employer!

Dear Arik Pilots, please remember that the passengers on board have families and friends to go back to and they are not the cause of your predicament with your employer! May God be with us all! Amen!

    ReplyDelete
  51. The problem with Arik Air is the Nigerian factor shit.....even when sanctioned by the Nigerian civil aviation authority a call most times comes in from ogas at the top....they keep owing and owing dues.....it's just a but mire modern and better than Nigerian airways..

    ReplyDelete
  52. Dear Pilot, report cases such as this to the appropriate governmental authority. The NCAA via the Ministry of Aviation typically request that complaints such as these be forwarded to their organziation and your privacy will not be compromised. It is in the interest of the public that people in health/safety related positions such as these are treated fairly and well. It is a critical issue and should be addressed urgently before disgruntled pilot turn to kamikazee warriors with passengers on board.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The pension fraud thong is true o, i was at an Arik ticketing office and i overhead the staffs discussing about their pension. The lady was complaining that they have been deducting money from her salary since she joined the company but its not reflecting in her pension account. When are we ever going to get anything right in this country?.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  57. Pls before accusing someone of something, kindly get your facts straight. some people are saying arik cabin crew n staff steal from their luggage.
    1. Arik staff doesn't handle passenger luggage. The handling company SAHCOL does that.
    2. A lot of people buy tickets to go n steal on board because most travellers are relaxed when on board. Many people have been caught stealing on board and handed over to the authorities.
    3. I'm sure nobody among all those people saying Arik crew steal on board has ever caught any arik crew stealing or even accused any of them face to face of doing that.
    4. Pls keep an eye on your personal property wherever you are and until you catch an Arik cabin crew stealing in your presence, kindly stop spreading malicious rumours.
