I am in deep shock..............WTF!!!..So dogs are no longer a man'S best friend?
A blog visitor inbox-ed me the picture of the little boy whose skull was eaten half open by dogs at home.I had particularly avoided that story because I couldn't bear to look at what the dogs had done to that little Angel.
The pic that opened before me was of the little boy's skull eaten half open and I am scared if he will survive that brutal attack...OMG,That baby boy needs proper medical attention fast.

Now this brings me to keeping dogs at home and allowing them move around freely.I hate pets in or outside the house,i cant stand dogs,snakes,cats..oh you name it!
Sometime last year a three year old girl's head was dismembered from her body whilst the grandma was having her bath....the dog was licking its blood soaked tongue as Grandma walked in....that story traumatised me and I am sure this aren't the only two cases.
Those of you training killer dogs at home because of the fear of armed robbers should be careful because it might backfire.
I got a call early this year and in the background i heard such frightening barking of dogs and i had to ask,my caller told me they were killer dogs in the house but they were in their cages,then I heard the voices of kids and my heart dropped.I asked him if it wasn't dangerous for the kids and he said anytime the dogs are let out,the kids are locked in..........*sigh*
Does anyone understand this kinda fear?Do you have pets at home?dogs?cats?snakes?rats?
What do you think about breeding dogs that might eventually turn around to eating the people it was trained to protect?or having pets that turn out dangerous...who in their right mind keeps a snake as pet and wakes up to its sliding into bed every morning?

ReplyDeleteThe couple travelled and their maid forgot to feed the dog for a week, when they came back from their trip, their only son (4years) rushed to the backyard to play with dog, but the hungry dog jumped on him, before they could rescue the boy, the dog killed him.
The man put the blame on his wife and pursued all his staff including his wife, all pleadings fell on deaf ears, his condition was they should provide his son for him. I felt for them.
I have two dogs, let me call my mum to poison them now.

Abeg they should return my money or change the cloth I bought from them, On sept 15th, I saw some clothes I like online through KAYMU.COM online store, I registered with them online and bought some cloth, eventually one EVERYDAY BOUTIQUE call and told me that there is a product I bought from his boutique through Kaymu.com. I said yes, he said ok, they are going to bring it to my house and I am going to pay for the service fee, I accepted,the next day they brought the cloth I bought and I paid them and left only for me to come back home and notice the cloth wasn't my size,I called immediately to tell him that the cloth was not my size that he has to change it for me, he accepted and told me that I will payfrom another service fee, I accepted, but up till now I have not heard from everyday boutique, I have called and called and called his line was switched off, I called kaymu online store and tendered my complain, they said they will look into it, but up till now, nothing have been done. Now I want to know, is this how the so called online bussiness operate? Why are they bunch of liars everywhere, if they can't change my blouse. Why cant they balance me my money? Have anyone experienced this type of thing? What do I do because I want to report them to the CONSUMER PROTECTION COUNCIL.

ReplyDeleteI hope that mad man keeping 3 wild dogs is prosecuted and jailed .if you claim they are for security reasons then release them at night and lock them up in the mornings.
You can't be keeping wild dogs if you are a tenant or if you are a landlord and you have tenants in the compound.
If help came 10 mins later that boy would have been dead and where the hell was the lousy owner during the vicious attack ? snake as pet? God forbid!!

ReplyDeleteI don't know of other pets I had dogs while growing up and still have one now. They are beautiful and protective animals, most time its this cross-breeding of dogs with dogs or other animals that cause this havocs. My uncle had a dog cross bred with a hyena, this dog was mean, fearless and restless, once it's released we don't go outside again including him only the security guy and my eldest brother (he is a natural dog whisperer) that can go near it.
ReplyDeleteSome others train their dogs with fresh blood eg cow or goat blood, that is very dangerous.
And other dangerous ones are those used in dog fights, they're really bad and aggressive. I wouldn't advice anyone with kids to buy or have a Pittbull or Rottweiler for a pet.
Basically it's the background and training of these dogs that they will exhibit.
Dogs yes but any other is a no no.

ReplyDeleteCouldn't open the story on the little boy, which made the rounds online, cos the headline alone broke my heart as I am a mom of two kids under 6. I've been praying for the little boy night and day and I urge everyone who reads this to do same, please, let's pray for him and his parents. I can't even think of the physical pain he is going thru and the psychological pain his family is passing thru.
As for pets...used to love them when I was a child, now I can't stand them cos I'm germophobic

ReplyDeleteMy hatred for dogs till date started wen I was a kid,my mum sent me on an errand to a family frnd's house and they keep dogs.At first,i didn't want to go.Buh on a 2nd thought,i didn't want to disobey my mum either.
On getting to d family frnd's house,the front door was locked. I tried knocking buh no one responded.Normally they chain there dogs @ their backyard,so out of fear I didn't rily bother to check thru the backyard to c if anyone was @ home so I can deliver my message.
To cut the long story short,on my way out to the gate,I met one of the dogs and it shot me a fierce look.i ws so scared and picked up sand to throw at it..Omo c Gobe ooo,the dog barked ferociously @me
U nid to c the race I picked,cos I had long legs as a kid,i didn't kn I could run faster dan Usain bolt..dis dog gave me a hot chase.i could feel adrenaline pump all ova my body cos I jumped over a high fence I won't possibly jump over on a normal day..i ran into someone's farm and jumped ova d mounds and ridges.And funny enof,wen I looked back,the dog had stopped chasing me...I ws gasping for breath as I started tip-toeing out of the farm,i mistakenly stepped on a broken bottle and started bleeding..i cried home.
My mum had to take me to a nurse for tetanus injection...since dt day my hatred for dogs developed till date.
I cnt kip it @ home or go near any house dt rears dogs esp vicious ones...

Have seen a family who kips dogs for security yet they got attacked by thieves.The armed robbers shot the dog and still robbed the house...

I have heard and read enough cases of dogs killing kids and the one that touched me most was the 3 days old baby that was killed by their pet dog and the dog had to be 'put down' .

ReplyDeleteDepends on the breed of dogs you have. We breed german shepards and have alittle boy of one. Infact they protect him from strangers. Dogs are good when you train them well and have a good breed. The best breed to have where they are kids are the Caucasian shepherd dog and Alsatian/german shepherd dog

ReplyDeleteI hate killer dogs and snakes! Some of my neighbors have pit bulls, and Wolf-looking dogs! Whenever I come out and see the dogs, I stand still until I make eye contact with the owner who would pull their leash far away from where I want to pass.

Bcs he came back from club very late drunk & d security guy has let loose d dogs, on coming in one of d dog a Rot attacked his master, it took d security guy efforts to pull d dog from d man & u know wot? D man went in brought his rifle & shot d dog dead, he said to his friends dat pets he bought & feeds wt his money can't kill him, odiegwu! lol

No matter how beautiful the puppy is I can't take home not to talk of those giant human size dogs that are always angry. I can breed chicken o at least they are harmless. I read on fb about that little boy and sincerely my heart skipped. All I pray is total recovery for him.
