How ever, there were times I wished he didn't cook because I had to prepare all the ingredients. in my mind I will be like just allow me to cook since I have arranged the ingredients. There were times I will just be jubilating coz he will do everything from arranging to cooking. # God bless all the gOod men out there

  16. Yes! A real man helps his wife in the kitchen, a real man doesn't hit his wife, a real man gives his wife great sex, a real man pampers his wife and treat her like a baby and handles her carefully like an egg, so she will OT fall and break. A real man does the house chores when his wife is not yet back from work, and helps her with laundry when he has the time, and prepares the kids for school once in a while when the wife is tired or too occupied, and goes to school to pick them when the wife is busy. A real man does all this, but still maintains his position as a man and not become a woman rapper, and not allow his wife emasculate him, and loves his family

  22. So a real man is that one who can help his wife in the kitchen yet you would all come here and tell men not to make condition of having a wife who can cook well. Anyway, it is only foolish for one to think that a man being able to help his wife in the kitchen makes him REAL just like making the condition of a woman being able to cook very well.

  46. Sorry o, not all Nigerian men abeg. When I came abroad, I told myself that was the end of Nigerian men for me with their commanding attitude and not cooking wahala. So wrong of me to generalise. It was still naija guy I fell for.lol...My husband is a damn good cook, his specialty is fried rice and egusi, mine is jollof rice and other soups. We are always in the kitchen together. Never will he leave me alone while I am cooking though I am lazy and like to wash plates while he cooks... Yesterday was our anniversary, I forgot. chai! He was the one that reminded me, bought some take away for both of us and also a shirt and jewelry for me. I thank God for this man and I believe it will continue like this. His mom did a good job!

Most times he will form gisting with me in d kitchen and from there na testing testing of anything I'm cooking at that moment. That alone is enough by me,as long as he dey try for other departments.

Real bush man cutting okra with knife instead of using a grater!Titimadame

@Titimadame - u r a real bush girl. coming to SDK's blog to expose ur backwardness and lack of exposure. Let me intimate u - it is not every tribe that uses grater on okro!! Capiche?

We Calabar people - we have so many ways of preparing okro.
    1. we can pound it in the mortar
    2. we can chop it into extremely tiny pieces using chopping board
    3. We can chop it in big pieces using a chopping board like vincent is doing.

No be everybody dey chop grated okro and stew u hear? BUSH GIRL!!

  54. VINCENT IS A CORRECT MAN. YOU CAN TELL HE REALLY LOVES HIS WIFE. HE MUST HAVE DONE A LOT OF TYING HIS LEGS TOGETHER AND PRETENDING TO BE A MERMAID WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER.

  55. @ the observer said... Are you the lady that her husband pounds like yam?
If so your mouth or tot will be the death of you. So the man even helps you in the kitchen? You need deliverance from the spirit of bitterness and wicked tots.
If you are not the poster of the abusives spouse then this s**t is not funny. This is someone elses pain you are trivializing.
