''It is my Birthday today and I am so blessed and overwhelmed.God is so Faithful and he has has given me life, salvations, health, family, friends, fans and so much more.He has given me you to share with and I am on my knees in Thanks.God I thank you.Kaza Ngwai.Allah na gode.
To show how much appreciation comes from people, I am blessed to be receiving more awards back to back. These are three prestigious awards within the months of September and October 2014. The first will hold in Abuja, the next also in Abuja then another one in Amsterdam.
On the 25th of September 2014, THE ACCOLADE AWARDS 2014 holds. I am nominated for ACCOLADE MOST OUTSTANDING TV PRESENTER AWARD 2014.
Following this closely is the MAFP Miss Ambassador for Peace Nigeria/Peace Achievers Award 2014 which will hold on the 27th of September 2014 in Abuja. I AM PROUD TO RECIEVE A PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD.
A little over a week after that Honour, I will head to the Netherlands for the much anticipated ADMA AWARDS (AFRICAN DIASPORA MERIT AWARDS) set to hold in Amsterdam-Netherlands on the 11th of October.
I am blessed to be receiving an HONOURARY AWARD IN RECOGNITION OF WORKS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARDS ENTERTAINMENT AND THE MEDIA INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA. I am humbled. I am so touched. This is indeed God's Glory being displayed.
That is not all, I have just been appointed the President of Waterski and Wakeboard Federation in Nigeria. I am also the Founder in Nigeria. The officiating ceremony will be soon. It will involve all the right Ministries in Nigeria. I am so thankful.
The International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) is the international regulatory body promoting water skiing, wakeboarding and other water sports, setting the official rules of water skiing and official tournaments, coordinating the work of national federations. Before 2009 the IWWF had the name IWSF. It was renamed at the Congress 2009 in Calgary.
Moving forward, the new team and i set up in Nigeria will introduce the Water ski and Wakeboard facility in Nigeria with the aim of contributing positively to the Country's tourism potential. All towards engaging the people more positively by means of sports and leisure. The aim is also to create job opportunities and make it possible for a lot of young people to be empowered by sending them abroad to further their studies and improve their potentials in the area of this water sport.
I am very passionate about giving out. As a PIPER, I serve as a bridge between the Enabler and the Enabled. This means that I and my organization try to link up those who need help to be established with those who can help them. As my Company grew, I also see myself as an enabler. More importantly, the zeal to give back is so strong in me.
I love to make people happy with gifts and what better day to do that than on my birthday.
I have decided to turn the tables by giving rather than receiving on my birthday. I don't mind the wishes and presents o lol (wink). I appreciate all. More importantly too, it is to assist those who are struggling and I intend to continue this personally and as my Company's (RAYZEDS MEDIA LIMITED) Corporate Social Responsibility. Above all, it is a way of expressing my gratitude to God for the journey so far.
IT IS IN THIS LIGHT THAT I AM GIVING AN OPPORTUNITY TO 10 STUDENTS IN GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOLS WHO STRUGGLE TO PAY THEIR FEES. ON THIS DAY, I WILL PAY YOUR FEES FOR THIS TERM. IF YOU ARE THAT PERSON, BE AMONGST THE FIRST TEN TO POST ON MY FACEBOOK POST NAMED 'SCHOOL FEES SPECIAL'. THIS WILL BE ON MY FACEBOOK FANPAGE 'RACHEL BAKAM'. GO THERE, LIKE THE PAGE AND WRITE UNDER THE POST 'SCHOOL FEES SPECIAL'. Your name, school and class.
At the end of the day, I believe all things work together for good when you are on the path of destiny. All that happens to you serve to build you up and the process in the journey of your destiny. I believe all in my past happened for a good reason because I always walk hand in hand with the Spirit of God and the Bible says "God 's thoughts for me are thoughts of good and not of evil to lead me to an expected end". I believe that absolutely.
Now I say haaaaappy birthday to me lol. Kaza ngwai (my native language Juu), Allah Na gode (Hausa), Thank You Lord. Thank You everyone one FFF Friends, Fans and Family. Muah May you all find your path in destiny.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
awwww..may God bless her and replenish her basket

Gbam... I have said this countless times to my instagram followers.... Always filtering the living day light out of their pictures... Hey,I love black skin. I would love to have one but can't since I am fair,so its very annoying seeing black girls filter their pix and still put hash tags like #blackandproud #blackisbeautiful #blackisreal #blackisthebest #blackandbeautiful

ReplyDeleteMy dears, thanks so much for making yesterday special for me. As regards the scholarship, unknown to a lot of us, many students in Government Secondary Schools cannot pay their fees. I got to find that out when I covered a graduation ceremony. A beautiful young girl was just about to drop out of school because of 3000 naira. I wasn't told of any one's school fees being paid by Government. It may be recharge card money to you but that can steer a destiny forward. Kindly visit a secondary school near you so you can assist too. I put this out on my birthday to draw our attention to assist. Yes most of those who need assistance don't have internet, the opportunity on my Facebook page is such that you can recommend anyone you know. We will assist the best way we can. The figure will also be such that it can help buy exercise books. We intend to make it for more than one term continually but will also spread to reach others. This is our collective responsibility as Nigerians to look out for the good of others. Please let's begin no matter how small. God bless us all. Kindly visit our Facebook fan-page Rachel Bakam to recommend someone by writing about the person under the post- SCHOOL FEES SPECIAL. Be amongst the first ten to do so and help steer a destiny forward. God bless you.

We may even go beyond 10 people. Let's all be PIPERS; Blow the great music of positive change and development. It feels so good to assist. Maybe you are doing a lot already. Do more my dears. It's never too much when you help. Hugs
