DeleteWhen we say the current dispensation has made a caricature of democracy the die-hard but blind loyalists call some of us pessimists and all sorts of unprintable names. Never before in the history of Nigeria or any country for that matter, has entertainers ever declared their political intentions like the way we're witnessing now. And the blind loyalists will say 'all thanks to GEJ's transformation agenda'. But truth is these singers, actors and charlatans now realise more than ever before that there's so much money to be made under the current dispensation, so, why waste time and energy being creative? Coz believe it or not, a large chunk of the present crop of politicians are creatively dead! Only few know what they are doing. That's not to say some of these entertainers going into the political scene aren't qualified or cannot make a successful switch from the silver screen to the shark-filled waters of politics. Oya, let the voltrons start what they know how to do best...
ReplyDeleteHuh? Anthony? Even you? Tor. All the best o but with this look and hair style? Lol.

If he wants to take it serious, let him change his hair colour. In that hinterland, appearance is key as they are very conservative.
