ReplyDeleteThe first three are OK.
People with the last three are called sicklers.
Well done ma, but so that we don't misinform people, the genotype CC ais not classified as sickle, as to term something sickle requires an S haemoglobin. God bless

ReplyDeletePenis erection for long hours? That's news to me. Ha! God have mercy.
DeleteIt's called priapism
DeleteDr Lagbaja
I think it's called priapism can't remember. Didn't know that 'sicklers' suffer that too. Sorry dear, may God heal them.
DeleteIt's true. My siblings and I are all SS! And one of the boys have it. Very painful experience, I was always crying for him. He has had an operation now n he's fine. SS children are expensive to maintain o. Y'all should think well b4 marriage o.
DeleteMay God heal dem.
DeleteOh dear Anon 10:55, God will heal them in Jesus name.
ReplyDeleteThe pains sicklers pass through especially when their blood begins to sickle is quite out of this world. Intending parents should know their genotype first before shooting out babies...
AA, AS, AC or SS, CC, SC
ReplyDelete@alloy ur just a bloody fool !! U mustn't talk . Would love to support this foundation .
ReplyDeleteGood concept. People should stop the stigmatisaion and be more aware of sickle cell disorder. With good management, sicklers can leave even longer than people who are not. It is good for people to know their genotypes so as to avoid bringing kids who will have to go through pain when their blood sickles. However, some people have found themselves married after wrong diagnosis before marriage and gave birth to sicklers. God is always in control.
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteNice move. *My kid sisters are sicklers. 20 and 18 years. Am grateful to God 4 their lives.... I pray God healin will locate dem permanently. *peace out*
ReplyDeleteVery happy about this event. I hear there are a lot of new drugs now that make SCA patients' lives more comfortable. I pray a cure is found soon. May God heal all those looking up to Him for their healing. Never underestimate the power of prayers, I've heard testimonies of people's genotypes change from SS to AS or AA. Never lose hope. #e-bearhugs.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was an hbCC. SC yea, never heard of CC. God bless this foundation and keep it going. Stella don't forget to keep us updated on the logos edition if there is ever one.
