President Jonathan Conferred As Grand Commander Of Nigerian Students By NANS.

Grand commander of Nigerian students certificate conferred on President Jonathan by NANS......

National Association of Nigerian Students right?I hope they went there to speak the mind of every Nigerian student and not to promote any campaign for 2015?..of course they are allowed to promote any campaign they choose to as private individuals but not as representatives of NANS.

President Jonathan with NANS leaders after his investiture as Grand Commander of Nigerian Students  ......

I hope they told the President that things are so bad in some homes that University students come on this blog to solicit for monies to pay their school fees?

I hope they told the President how low the quality of Education being dished to them is?

I hope they went there to seek for answers to the problems crippling Education in Nigeria?
I am asking all this these questions because the role of NANS in being a voice for the voiceless students in Nigeria was comprised long ago in exchange for the famous 'brown envelope'.

Hmmm....I hope!

  6. I laughed so hard when I first saw this. Who are these people? Ehn? Do they look like students? Of which institution(s)? Is it not a shame if its these old cargo that are representing Nigerian students when most students graduate at 24 yrs of age?
What has Jonathan done to alleviate the suffering of students? Is it the strikes and incessant hike in school fee? Mtscheew. Shame on the so call future leaders.
Awon onijekuje. Ole, Oledarun. I'm sure the honorarium they got is the reason behind this act.

  7. *a voice for the voiceless*

even in their respective schools, they don't have a voice anymore, all they do is play politics; how much more in Asorock.
    Asslickers, slurping it out

  8. Trust these things u hoped for wasn't part of their motive, these people are all working fr their mouths aka brown envelope. They don't represent the masses, if they do,they sure won't be making such decision.

  13. Things are hard everywhere. Before GEJ's regime people were suffering, students were begging, families were living in abject poverty! But @ least in his regime pple have forums like SDKB with good and kind hearted pple to run to for help! Thats alot to be grateful for. He is just the president for crying out loud!dont tel me you will also blame him for the activities of corrupt councilors or LG chairmen or even lecturers! He is trying his best to make things work. Lets allow him do more in 2015! GEJ for president
