Is this a recent message? I enjoyed it and I pray he can apply it into his own marriage. I don't encourage divorce but I don't judge people that divorce either. ReplyDeleteNo you can't change your spouse, it's the holy spirit that can. As a couple if you understand your individual roles in marriage and adhere to them your home would be peaceful. e.g woman be submissive to your husband, man love you wife to the point of sacrifice, both of you be faithful and forgive each other's wrongdoing since none of you is perfect. Marriage is a covenant i.e. a binding irrevocable agreement that should be built on love, trust, understanding and most importantly on the principles of God. These will make the couple build a near perfect home. In fact just see your spouse as as yourself, treat him or her how you will treat you. For divorce, God hates it but sometimes permits it on the ground of infidelity or different beliefs when either of you can't cope anymore. But His perfect will is till death do you part.
