ReplyDeletePerhaps in another year, the guy who returned the dollars in his hotel too will be rewarded. Recall that the driver who returned the foreign currency too in Abuja took more than two years for him to be given a national honor. Better late than never I would say.

XOXO MYSTERY
My able president! I just love this list..the common man got something the big and mighty have collected for years..Even tho Pa is old..at least let it be known that he was honoured in his country..honour is more than money..@Stella maybe they started compiling this list since, that is probably why that hotel boy and so many deserving Nigerians didn't make the list...my thoughts ooh..i don't think these things are put together over night..IMO #GEJ
ReplyDeleteLoonngg overdue. Bless God
ReplyDeleteThanks pa Akinkumi for designing the symbol of this great nation's recognition, and thanks Mr President for honouring him.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all worthy recipients. Surely your good works shall find you.
Congrats to them.
ReplyDeleteElection day politics. Not impressed. Still way too many people living in poverty and lack in a country with so much wealth.
ReplyDeleteThis is worth celebrating....
ReplyDeleteThank you GEJ, for remembering Pa Akinkunmi
Congrats to you all
Don't know why people make a big deal about honoring the man who designed the flag......he has been given previous awards and he was given monetary award when the flag competition took place.....some people are just not destined to be rich in life so his poverty should not be blamed on the government not recognizing him....
