Arsenal Whooped 2-0 By Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal's Champions League Group D campaign got off to a poor start as Borussia Dortmund scored either side of half-time to secure a deserved victory.
Ciro Immobile opened the scoring after powering past Laurent Koscielny to beat Wojciech Szczesny with a low finish.

Dortmund doubled their lead when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished another fine breakaway.

Danny Welbeck wasted Arsenal's best chance when clean through, while Aubameyang also hit the bar.
Arsenal, competing at this stage of the Champions League for the 17th year in a row, have progressed to the knockout rounds before after losing their opening group game.
But they will have to improve significantly after a woeful display at Signal Iduna Park where they were outfought and outplayed for long periods.
The Gunners had arrived in Germany unbeaten in their previous six visits to the country.
Yet Dortmund, who had a total of 22 shots compared to Arsenal's four, should have won by a more handsome scoreline after a sloppy and careless performance by Arsene Wenger's side.

The visitors were missing defenders Nacho Monreal, Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers, and fielded 19-year-old full-back Hector Bellerin, whose only previous senior outing was a 26-minute substitute appearance in a League Cup tie.BBC

Wenger is so clueless, I think his best days are behind him. He should save us the shame and resign already.

    1. Tony, pls we need to carry placards and pursue that man o. Clueless is not even enough to qualify him. Wenger is the only coach I knw who doesn't start match with key players and he waits till the 70th minute to make necessary changes. In fact eh, I tire. #wengerout

  8. Ahhh, that game was annoying o. At a point I had pity on Sanches, the guy really tried. Welbeck deserved a big slap for the chance he lost. Koscielny tried very well, but that first goal pained me, cos I believed it would have been averted. Our midfield was not something to even talk about. I angrily went to bed after the second goal. I love arsenal forever, but the heartbreak they have given me surpasses all heartbreaks. Mtcheeeew.
