Facebook Robbers Arrested By Police

The police in Asaba, Delta State, have arrested three young men for robbing their Facebook friends of a bag containing clothes.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the arrest on Thursday said the victims, Oleshade Akugbade and
Olayinka Alake, both of Ibadan, Oyo State, reported at the GRA police station in Asaba that they were invited to Asaba by their Facebook friends, Daniel Fredrick, Nze Emeka and Kingsley Nwali, all residing at Shedrack Estate in the Delta State capital.

“On their arrival at the aforementioned estate they were robbed by their hosts of a bag containing their clothes. The three suspects have been arrested while the stolen items were recovered from them,” Kalu said.

  8. Wow. Bag of clothes. I guess they were expecting the bag to be filled with money. Or maybe they are into used clothing business. I just wonder the kind of clothes that were in the bag. Sometimes after stealing so much, thieves finally get caught for stealing the small stuff. The police should give them the clothes to rock in jail.
