Ebola Virus Risk In Osun State - To Whom It May Concern.

CC:OFFICE OF PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN.
CC:OSUN STATE GOVERNOR RAUF AREGBESOLA.
CC:MINISTRY OF HEALTH OSUN STATE.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

There is an annual festival celebrated in Osun state, south western Nigeria, called the Osun Osogbo festival. This festival is celebrated along the Osun river, where by thousands of people come from different states all over the country, especially from Lagos state. Traditionally it is believed it cures ailments, hence you see people using gallons to fetch the river water, bathing there and others offering sacrifices to the gods.

This is however not a good time, with the current outbreak of Ebola virus, not only will a large crowd mingle, the fetching of the water is equally dangerous most especially now.

If there are talks to extend schools resuming in the country,i think this situation is equally urgent. The festival should be delayed until the Ebola virus is contained in Nigeria, otherwise,we might have a serious case of possibly Ebola outbreak!

This year's festival is scheduled to hold next week Friday,August 22nd 2014.

*PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON UNTIL IT REACHES THE POWERS THAT BE AND THIS FESTIVAL IS POSTPONED....WE DO NOT WANT A NATIONAL CRISIS RIGHT NOW!

    7. @ bunny since u r ignorant of this information let me enlighten u a bit. D swimming pool has chlorine and germ killing agents so the last place Ebola virus can survive is in a treated pool. I would rather have my kids play in a pool than play in a park. For further knowledge visit www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/index.html.

    5. Guess soo many people need info on how to get a blog ID,lemme just break it down to be understood easily... 1)visit gmail.com then create a gmail account(requires phone number). 2)after the gmail has been created successfully;visit blogger.com 3)log in with the gmail address which you. Have created earlier on(with the password too) then it automatically logs you into your blogger account... 4)once you are logged in successfully;you can then click on the "New blog" tab to create ur own blog account by filling in the necessary info required... 5)your blog I.d has been created successfully... 6)when next you log into stella's blog or any other blog and you want to comment;go to the "reply as" then click on "google Account" and insert your gmail or blogger email address as created earlier on then "next" it until you are logged in completely;hence you are good to go with commenting using a blog I.d... Note:most smartphones operamini can't allow you comment with your blog I.D;soo after creating your blog I.D and you want to make use of it;use your normal phone browser or if u are making use of an android phone;use operamini 12.1 or 11...cos version 7 downwards doesn't go through when trying to comment with a google/blog I.D...if you are making use of a PC;u have nothing to worry about tho..BEST of LUCK!! **MARTINS ABOY**

  18. Nigerian government should actually start taking extreme measures to bring this Ebola thing to a halt. Ebola doesn't care if u are rich or poor. Your house-help can give u Ebola, Your driver, security man etc...these people can get it from their family members who mingle with everyday people on the streets.
Everybody pray like you never did and be careful.

  28. Ogbeni should talk to the organizers to postpone it because some people might come there with the believe they will get heal. We won't want any one to escape from the camp where they are been treated for water cure in Osun.
