Ebola - Suspected Case In Port Harcourt As Govt Officials Hold Emergency Meeting!
A well connected Blog visitor in PortHarcourt just contacted me to say this
''Stella there is a suspected case of Ebola in Port Harcourt Ooh.The hospital is
GOOD HEALTH HOSPITAL DLINE and blood tests have been sent to Lagos for confirmation. There was an emergency meeting at the government house last night.People are worried!''
*The governor of the state should immediately take the same emergency measures taken by governor Fashola of Lagos state to contain the virus and other state governors should be on the alert and not wait for it to land their state before running helter-skelter.....We can only breathe a sigh of relief when the worst hit Ebola regions in Africa is free from the virus, until then everyone should still be alert and take precautionary measures.

ReplyDeletePlz oh enough of this ebola nonsense, people should stop spreading rumours plz.
Hmmm Nigerians, make una no KILL UNA SELVES WITH PANIC.... not all cases of vomiting n stooling is Ebola. Before d advent of Ebola, we had cholera, almost d same symptom with Ebola. Nigerians take it easy on urselves, make una no begin de die of High Blood Pressure. Atleast those living in PH should wait for results first b4 they start panicking....
ReplyDeleteCholera isn't as deadly as ebola, you won't blame people for assuming every case of stooling and puking is ebola.
DeleteFather help ur beloved country Nigeria. This Ebola has to pass us by ooo. Haba we have suffered enough frm bad leadership, tribalism, poverty etc please God do not let Ebola be one of our problems. Amen.
ReplyDeleteLord Jesus, we need your Mercy in our Land. Please Save your childrem whom you died for.

The hospital is good heart hospital and it is in GRA not D/line or east west road. The case is yet to be confirmed to be Ebola. The governor did not issue any statement on this so i wonder where u heard the governor denied it. The test results will be out today. So until then, let us all hope and pray that it comes our negative.

DeleteGOD I put nig onto ur able hand.yeah! I was expecting to read the announcement that was made by minister of health on your blog how lagos successfully contain d virus but didn't make d post. Stella abeg na 4 where u see doctor, wife and pastor case u mentioned last week? I no tink say dat won na confirm. Na to fear nig people u sabi,GOD pass all d energy of this country
DeleteNigeria my homeland,God pls save us.
ReplyDeleteLet the test results come out first nah, before we throw the whole PH into panic. But I don't understand this one they are sending lab tests to lagos to confirm. Does it mean that hospitals like Braithwaite and others have not equipped their labs to identify such cases? This is really odd oh. Abi dey believe Ebola is only a lagos disease ni?
ReplyDeleteThis is so annoying. I'm a Port Harcourt person I can categorically tell you all it CANNOT be contained as quickly as Lagos managed to. Our officials all are lazy and totally bereft of any moral backbone. The worst politicians all rend civil servants na PH them dey. People will soon start running away to hide and that's how this thing will spread. The doctor is as evil as Patrick Sawyer. Now he's dead...ironically his big man client is still alive. Foolish people that will jeopardise the whole nation for money.
ReplyDeleteU are Soo on point!
DeleteNo b Amaechi again?
Wen he has not finished fighting oda people's wars.
D patient is dead o!
D Doctor himself dead...one Dr I....
(dont know if it's proper to mention his name)
And now,his wife showing d symptoms
May GoD help us all
Shebi just two days ago,we were watching d News n dey said dey have contained it...
Contain what?!
How do u contain Something u can't account for?!
Can dey account for every single person dat was in FCH d days dat Evil Sawyer was dere?!
From d first patient down to the visitors...
So I just i knew I wasn't gonna take Deir word for it....
No b our Govt again?!
Suddenly d money dat was meant for fighting dis epidemic,to pay d Health workers risking Deir lives for our own good,my Brother d Minister said it's to purchase vehicles
Ana emenu....
The Diseases of d Egyptians shall not see us and our families o,Amen!
A thunderous AAmeeen!
DeleteEverything will be fine if necessary actions are taken.
ReplyDeleteD rumour of dis ebola virus kills faster dan d virus itself
ReplyDeleteO chineke m oo
Anyi agbaba na nchedo gi o nne nke chukwu di aso.....
Choi! PHC another populated town. I hope its just speculation.
ReplyDeleteNa waohhhh! I cover my family n I wit d precious blood of Jesus! Gov Ameachi plz do sumtin oooo... can't leave my house again! the fear of Ebola is d beginning of wisdom. Peace!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly Spirit!
ReplyDeleteI pray it's not so.
Oh dear Lord!
ReplyDeletePls anyone who knows the name of this doctor needs to publish it, because as a doctor he must have treated other patients, he must have met people socially. People need to know if they have made contact with him or his immediate family. Even the name of the hotel should be published, for anyone who might have gone there in recent times or know someone who went there or someone who works there. May God help us eliminate this terrible disease and protect us all. And please people take all necessary precautions
ReplyDeleteGood heart hospital is in GRA EVO road not dline plssss
DeleteIf dis is true, d Dor na d patient na others who kns na keep quite are as wicked as Mr sawyer.
ReplyDeleteNot again ooo,,Chim ooo
ReplyDeleteLord have mercy. The world is coming to an end. What's the difference btw Patrick Sawye and this doctor biko? Smh
ReplyDeleteOh gosh goose pimples
ReplyDeletethe iyawo general........u are highly mouthed jooorrrr!!!! Good morning to u too................OKIJA WIFE
ReplyDeleteGod help us oopo
ReplyDeleteStella, guess this was the gist you were trying to tell us the other day but you wrongly linked it to another doctor in first consultant hospital, too bad sha after i was already heaving a sigh of relief for my peeps back home.
ReplyDeleteIf it is positive they should sit up and deal with it like Lagos state did.
ReplyDeleteThe same reason we cant trust the military over boko haram is same reason we cant trust doctors in this matter, not 1, not 2 medical personals have displayed deleterious behavior in this very crucial time.
ReplyDeleteAll sense of precaution and discernment is gradually eroding. We have a weak weak system and we allow the wrong wrong people lead us.if some people have lost office for this ebola, the others will sit up.
The instant headache i got hearing its in PH.#sigh#
Tailor
The Good heart hospital is where the Doctor ...Ikechukwu Sam Enemuo..was rushed to after he took ill with symptoms of Ebola. He was said to have operated on a woman on Monday presumably after secretly treating the diplomat. Fell ill next day Tuesday and died last Friday. No one knew about this hotel angle which was a very big risk he took...and unethical thing to do.. He was ill for 3 days...then started vomiting blood with bloody diarrhoea. He was rushed to Prime...where he was rejected and then taken to Good heart whose MD is a Cardiologist ..a consultant physician with UPTH. He died there. Good heart is on EVO road in GRA ph2 THE Doctor that died practices in East West Road Rumuokoro...Sam Steel clinic. The wife also a Doctor has a 3-month old baby. There may have been well over 200 contacts of this devilish diplomat who lured his young Doctor friend to treat him secretly and went back to Lagos. I hear he has eventually submitted himself for Ebola check in a bid to get a clearance certificate to fly out..he tested positive and is now quarantined in lagos..It's quite a calamity unfolding in Ph. Unfortunately Ph health facilities are not quite ready to contain Ebola at the moment. There are American experts and federal and WHO health workers in town however training Drs and other healthworkers and helping out with contact tracing etc Please we need to be on the watch, as victims might try to avoid going to the clinic because they don't want to be quarantined. Ebola is a deadly virus and we need to help the government spot out possible case so we can be free again.
ReplyDeleteDr ikechukwu n his wife treated me last year. Life! So that man is dead. His stubborness led him to his grave same as p Sawyer. Selfish people
ReplyDeletehow many of us wey Errol Bennet wan marry? STAY AWAY.
DeleteAll of a sudden every1 now remembaz GOD! Wicked ppl! Especially phc monkeys dat hate oda pplz progess! Now u know GOD is in charge n not u or ur rubbish tongues! I wonda weda dis Ebola virus dye select persin!!! devils!!! May God have mercy dats all I can say
