    3. Good initiative but what about the ordinary Nigerian who has no access to Internet? What BBC strategies is Govt putting in place to curb this epidemic. Does Nigeria not have a public health sector? They can do better.smh

    4. Anonymous 1:42am by public sector u mean the ministry of health or what? As it is there is no cure for it, what the state or federal govt can do is to get the infected into a solitary confinement.. which would be arranged. Matter of fact the isolation center is being processed to better keep them away from the general public. I think it's a step in the right direction as this came as a rude shock to the entire nation. So no need to condemn the efforts just yet. It's a process. At least they've been able to trace a few victims from the airport etc. What we should be asking the world at large and not just Nigeria or the state, is the possible cure, or at least something to reduce the virus in d immune system to avoid death. It's an intricate venture I must say.

    5. For the ordinary Nigerian who isn't Internet inclined etc. The govt is running an hourly jingle on radio stations, TV, motor parks, market places etc. To better inform market women, motor park staff and the likes. Of course in a language that they understand. Demonstrations are being given explicitly for a better understanding to the minorities on how best to avoid the virus.

  4. This is good. They need all the help they can get to prevent the spread of that virus.

Nigerians also need to educate its citizens and create awareness. I watched on Channels yesterday, a reporter was asking Lagosians randomly about their awareness of Ebola. Most of them said they have never heard about the virus. Imagine!

Massive campaign needs to be done.

    It is well.

  10. Our health workers! Goodness. Our barrier care in Nigeria is so poor.

Other States Govt should know that some contacts on that plane interacted wt other citizens on arriving the country. They could have panicked and gone hiding in fear.
They could be hiding in other states. This isn't a Lagos issue! It's an issue of National epidemic.
