*Omisore sorry oh,try again after 4 years, the people might have forgiven and forgotten by then!
Ogbeni's Statement After Voting ''People Will Protect their Votes''
"Beside the initial show of unwarranted force shown by a section of security agencies, one cannot understand why this is heavily biased against my party. Starting from 1am this morning not less than 150 of my party members have been harassed, threatened, bastardised. COMM justice and attorney general of my state was manhandled and maltreated. When you have such a discriminatory attitude such action in a democracy, this is a bastardised democracy. Let is be known that we are under the siege of gun.
Having said this about the run up to the election, I must not fail to recognise the smooth nature of the process in my polling g centre, the people received us enthusiastically and in a very orderly manner which was void of any crisis. What I witnessed when I visited the polling centre was commendable. My hope is that what happened when I visited this polling unit is the experience state wide. It is my hope that if this is the case, we will sing a good song of the strength of democracy.
The strength of the people in a democracy is to freely, fairly and transparently choose whoever is most appropriate to govern them, by their own judgement.
We expect that the enthusiasm of our people is sufficient to douse the exuberance of the over zealous miscreants".
Aregbesola. August 9; 2014

Congrat!
ReplyDeleteWe understand that you are referring to PDP in your above statement/press release sir, but quick question sir,
Why is it that every time there is an election or something happens to a member of either PDP or APC, they automatically blame each other?
Why can't you people do the needful and keep it moving? Must you lot always play the blame game?
Today it's PDP harassing APC members, tomorrow it's APC vandalising PDP members properties.

BLOG ANALYSER: congrats, self ur people with all your might this second tenure. We are watching
ReplyDeleteWowwow, this sound unpredictable before D-day as some of my community folks prefer to go for the lesser evil. You could guess who they consider more evil. PdP don't have a good contender. Even Adeleke or an unknown new fellow with a good campaign and manifesto will shake Aregbe or even beat him. Ppl don't really want him but they just want to hoist his top contender out.
ReplyDeleteHallelujah!!!!!!!! Up Ogbeni!!!!!!! Yay wao wao wao!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrat*in patt's voice*!! Keep on doing good things for ur ppl?! #onelove#
ReplyDelete@bitchplis u got me laughing....btw congrats to the man of d moment...

ReplyDeleteOsun people are very fetish! Evryday jazz evry nite jazz.
I heard Rauf is a sponsor of boko haram! I just hope its a lie. Hmmm I just dey look.
Congrats Rauf.
ReplyDeleteI hope u don't end up like ur fellow APC govs who does nothing in their second term in office.
You're doing a good job, Stella. I became your visitors some days ago and I must commend the work you're doing.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think there is a mistake/misinformation in this post. INEC announced that the APC won in 22 LGAs against PDP's.
Keep up the good work!
When PDP wins its rigging but if APC wins Its a free and fair election right? It is evident and fortunate that Nigerians now vote for the candidates and not the party based on each person's competence and credibility. This is a good development and should be encouraged. I hope stakeholders of APC will graciously accept defeat if they lose in any state same way victory is being embraced today. We need peace and all this unnecessary blame game to end. Politics is not a do or die affair and as far as I am concerned both parties are practically one and the same. May the best man win ! Tari
ReplyDeleteThe Amala tactics won in the end.
ReplyDeleteWoow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its the Lord's Doing and I'm celebrating With the good people of Osun State!!!! #uparegbsola#
ReplyDeletePele Omisore, you will soon be compensated with a political appointment. Maybe NCAA DG or Petroleum minister. Up Ogbeni Rauf. Ride on.
