It was beyond comprehension seeing the mammoth crowd that came out en mass to support this man Aregbesola. The city of Oshogbo came to an abrupt halt in full support of what he stands for....
What does he stand for?......Read further please!
Our Well connected Blog Visitor who was part of the entourage says
''Our ride from the governors quarters to the stadium took 4 hours because everyone wanted to have a one on one with the governor and he humbly obliged. Even as it started to rain heavily no one bothered and he was on his car cheering the crowd, as can be seen in the pictures, under the heavy rain.
Yesterday was also a significant day for the APC because Oyinlola defected from PDP to APC. Present at the rally were governor Okorocha, Governor Oshiomole, outgoing governor Kayode Fayemi, Senators Bukola Saraki and Femi Ojudu.
The party leaders, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, Lai Muhammed, and many more.
Market women, young children, transporters, etc...showed absolute solidarity for Ogbeni Aregbesola.
Stella the one that got me laughing hysterical was when I saw a child who was sucking from her mother's breast, as soon as the baby saw Aregbesola on his van cheering with his Broom, she hurriedly released her mouth from her mother's breast and started to jump...lol.
The highlight of the moment was when Ogbeni Rauf shared gift items by throwing them to the crowd. It was a peaceful rally and the securities dispatched to the state ensured there was no incident of any kind.
What I saw yesterday is a true testament that it pays to be a good person and leader, its very important before one aligns with any political party .This is what I saw of Ogbeni yesterday in that Osogbo rally. He is loved by his own. Anyhow, Saturday is a few days away, which is when the ''ele toon'' will hold. Let God's will prevail in Osun state.

ReplyDeleteI didn't see any mammoth crowd. All I can see is the governor. Nigerians and their childish ways of campaigning. soon the soon the opposition will come with more stories discrediting this report and APC will stick to their stories in case they don't win so that they have a good reason to cry blue murder. mammoth crowd ko, over population ni
ReplyDeleteIt was a mammoth crowd! It was televised live
DeleteWas a scary mammoth crowd. Hope it's not the type that followed Ifeanyi Ubah in onitsha when he campaigned during Anambra gubernatorial election. I fear all these media hype. When proper voting starts, pray they vote him o.

ReplyDeleteLmao @ fadeyi oloro and sangolawo's incantations.
DeleteUnless you're talking to illiterates or better still the educated illiterates of our time, you should know that no matter how you want to cunningly coin your report, a wise mind can decipher the truth from it. Let me break it down for you. From your sycophantic report, its obvious the people were gathered there for the 'odourless fufu' and bags of rise he was throwing at them. My advice is grow up, stop ass-licking, stop sycophancy at least for your Children's sake.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, you mentioned that the securities deployed to the state ensure the protest was peaceful. So you're admitting that the security deployed by Jonathan of the PDP actually was done in good fate right? Stella wait for them oh, they will soon come here to change the story that the security was sent to bully and harass them or even to rig election.
PS: I am not from Osun state and I don't even live in Nigeria but I have come to realize that APC only cries that there's foul play when they are losing but if they are winning, then it's free and fair. I have withnessed Nigerian elections in the past and I can attest that APC (created from previously existing AD and AC)are even more corrupt. They rig and do all sorts. I don't think you guys have the moral standing to accuse PDP of anything. But then of course it's Nigeria. No ethical standards, everything goes.
My advice to all well meaning Nigerian is that please vote for the personality of the candidate and what he or she can offer your people and not for any political affiliation (that's if your vote will count anyways). Then those that are opportune to get up there, don't follow the trend. Speak the truth. Stop sycophancy. Stop engaging in corrupt practices in your own little way. If nobody patronizes the weed seller he'll soon run out of business. My point is, from as little as not breaking the queue to not offering bribe. Do your bit. Tiny drops of water makes a mighty ocean. If you do yours and I do mine, we would sooner than later create that ripple effect that will end corruption.
Have a fulfilled week.
Gbam!!...

When will Nigerian politicians stop this "father Christmas attitude" during elections? And when will Nigerians be more interested in sound policies than gifts? Well, maybe when Jesus comes. Throwing gifts from a moving vehicle... *,sigh* I guess this post is meant to be a back up plan so that "if" he loses the election, his supporters can say "the election was rigged. Didn't you see the number of people that turned up to show their love and support? " You guys forget that that same crowd that is singing and dancing around the governor might as well be the same crowd that will dance around his opponent. You think people are so loyal? They might just be looking for the highest bidder or the highest "giver" in this case. What a shame that we are still operating in the era of stomach politics. Unfortunately, if this continues, things will continue to deteriorate. Now the people have danced, it will soon be time for them to pay the piper.
