Pleas if you work in an NGO that deals with cases like this, please contact the poster on this email before something terrible happens..Project Alert please rise up to the occassion.email address is triggerwhite@yahoo.com

''Dear Stella

I am a regular visitor to your blog but do not comment anyway.

Please i would want to report a case of wife battery/assault that occurred this Monday at Isolo area. the person in question happens to be my last kid sister who has been married to this guy and and they have a child together.

This has been a re-occurring issue but the damage this time i can not take anymore.

i have a picture of her injured face at the moment.

Please can you link me with an NGO that handles such issues or Human Right Activists etc to enable me register this with them and take necessary action against my suppose brother in-law before i take the law out of hand.

You can pass it out but be discrete for now with the connecting info so that i can nail this guy where it hurts most legally.

Many Thanks

Stella''

  8. If you're in Lagos, contact International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), their Lagos Address is Legal Aid Council office at No. 10 Okotie Eboh Road, South West Ikoyi Lagos.
We are a very strong Organisation, and trust me, we don't joke with the plight of our fellow women. Try to reach them, or even legal Aid council too, they can be of help. Pls help your sister fast, domestic violence has taken the life of a lot of women. Cheers.

  9. Organise for guys to beat him up and they should warn him that if he ever beats his wife again, it's his dead body they would Bury next time. Kai. ... as I am an adult one man would beat me? For what stupid reason? Okay let's say it was the first time ... but to constantly receive battery, me that I love myself? God forbid bad thing, hmmn I might destroy that man. Women beaters know the type of women they can try that shit with and get away.

    2. @anony 1:26, ure my type of person. Even the way you wrote ur reply shows strength of character lol. I remember when an ex was taking out his belt to beat me... He had beaten me before out of the blues, I just protected my beautiful face. But on this second occassion he as he was taking off his belt, I just stood looking at him, not running or cowering, I looked him dead in the eyes and I said in a very calm voice... " if that belt should touch me, I will kill you, I will stab" hmm my sister nah so the guy sense straighten. He just took me back to my house jejely. Me I won't take it more than once or twice in a marriage. Third time, I would destroy that man. How much is it to get thugs to beat him real good? And ild leave. I too love myself jor

  17. Maybe I am missing something. Is she chain bound to the house? Why can't she just up and leave his house and leave the coward???? I know u love her and she is ur sister but why o why can't she be strong and just leave him?? Are children involved?

    Seriously I can not comprehend.

Women be strong. EMPOWER yourselves for heaven's sake. Get an education, learn a trade. Start a business. Sell water. Do something! The day a man child hits u, I hope u have the strength to walk away.

Too bad for a man to beat his wife after all d vow

    ReplyDelete
  28. I really wonder why men have to resort to hitting their wives for whatever reasons, it is beyond human comprehension.
My cousin after several beatings has taken off, the last beating she got from him was a special package, he almost blinded her.

Now the so called husband is begging and crying like a baby for her to come back to him, he is begging every one, babe says she will not go back.Dude is acting like he wants to commit suicide and claims he still loves her, Adongerrit.
