    2. No maths involved! It's 24 kg. Cat 10kg, rabbit 20kg, Dog 24kg in d first d 3 pictures( from d dialogue boxes above their heads). Last pic is asking for dog's weight- 24kg Shikenan.

      Delete
    3. This is my working.. in the first pic there is a cat and a rabbit. I knw the rabbit can neva weigh morethan the cat. So I assumed d cat is 6 and the rabbit 4. Now in I do that it means in d 2nd diagram (where there is a dog and a rabbit) the dog will be 16 since the rabbit is 4.which is equal to 20.then I move to the 3rd pix. If cat is 6 and dog is 16 the result is supposed to b 22 (which is wrong and it means my first analysis that the cat is 6 and rabbit 4 is wrong) and now I have to bear in mind that the rabbit is smaller. I decided 2 try 7&3. Cat =7 and rabbit =3.which is 10.then second pix which has a total of 20 means that dog is 17 and rabbit 3, third pix dog=17 and cat=7 and total is 24. Then d 4th pix which has a dog,cat and rabbit will be =27. Cuz dog is 17, cat is 7 and rabbit is 3. Stella how many dollars do I get for my working??

    4. Maybe, you are right for once without f**king the maths teacher because we all know the only reason you scored 99/100 or @least 97 for 9 terms way back was bc u were f**king the maths teacher. If you don't do assignment, maths teacher wont collect assignment dat day, don't get me wrong, u were a brilliant student, but u decided to mix it with manipulation , yes manipulation bc while we were trying to get over the maths teacher own, you added Commerce and Accounts teacher, and while we were still trying to get over that, you added the govt teacher, even though investigations proved otherwise, i still believe you had sumthing to do with them all, while your bestie handled Further maths and Biology teachers and that was all you needed to be the best commercial student . I hope you are changed now, stop manipulating people to get wah u want. I wonder what they even saw in you, you are not the 1st slim girl with ass, you not even fine , but that's by the way. I never liked your way of being at d spotlight and it hasn't changed. That's for you @manipulating barbie

                Y=cat
                Z=dog
    X=10-(24-z )
    10-y=20-(24-y)
    10+24-20=2y
    34-20=14
    Y=7
    The cat is 7

    Z=24-7
    Z=17
    The dog is 17

    X=10-7
    The rabbit is 3

  40. c = 7kg
    d = 17kg
    r = 3kg

    c+d+r = 27kg

    solution:

    let c= cat, d = dog, r = rabbit lol

    from pic 1
    r + C = 10kg ......1
    therefore r = 10 - c ....1b

    from pic 2

    c + d = 24kg ...... 2
    therefore d = 24 - c ...........2b

    from pic 3

    r + d = 20kg ....3
    substituting eqns 1b and 2b into eqn 3

    10-c+ 24 - c = 20 kg

    34 - 2c = 20kg

    -2c= 20-34
    -2c = - 14
    divide both sides by -2
    c = 7kg..

    since c = 7kg, substitute in eqn 1b and 2c

    r = 10 - c
    r = 10 - 7 = 3kg

    eqn 2c

    d = 24 - c
    d = 24 - 7 = 17kg

    therefore
    d + c + r = 17 + 7 + 3 = 27kg

    substitute for C in equation 3.
    therefore D + (D - 10) = 24, 2D = 34

    D(Dog)= 17
    substitute D in eq 2.
    R = (20 - 17) R(rat) = 3.
    substitute R in eq 1. 3 = 10 - C
    C = 7. therefore R+C+D = 3+7+17 =27Kg.

  57. C reps cat, R reps rabbit, D reps dog
    C + R = 10...Equation 1
    D + R = 20...Equation 2
    C +D = 24...Equation 3

    From equation 3...D = 24 - C ...so substitute this in equation 2
    (24 - C) + R = 20 , Now make R the subject of the formula, R = 20 -24 + C, now substitute for R in equation 1
    C+20-24+C = 10..I.e
    2C - 4 = 10
    2C = 10 + 4
    2C = 14
    C = 14 ÷ 2
    C = 7...substitute in eqtn 1 to get weight of R
    7 + R = 10
    R= 10 - 7
    R = 3...substitute in eqtn 2 to get weight of D
    D+ 3 = 20
    D= 20 - 3
    D= 17

    So total weight = 7+ 3+17 = 27kg

    ReplyDelete

    Let
    x= rabbit
    y= cat
    z=dog
    x+y=10 -------(1)
    x+z=20--------(2)
    Y+z=24--------(3)
    From (1) make x the subject of the formula
    X=10-y
    from (3) make y the subject of the formula too
    y=24-z
    substitute these values in (2)
    10-24+z+z=20
    Collect like terms
    2z= 20+24-10
    2z=34
    z=17
    Solve for y in (3) by substituting the value of z
    y=24-17
    y=7
    solve flt x in (1) by substituting the value of y
    x=10-7
    X=3
    hence x+y+z=

  71. Hmmm..., since im terrible at math, lemme use common logic:
    The difference between the weight of the cat and rabbit is 4, so the cat is 4kg heavier than the rabbit. since the total of their weight is 10, that means the cat is 7kg and the rabbit is 3 kg(dats 4kg difference).After that its east to get the weight of the dog (just subtract the weight of either the cat or the rabbit from the dogs). lemme subtract the weight of the rabbit to get the dogs weight, dats 20-3=17. therefore the dog is 17kg.
    The total therefore is 3+7+17= 27

    Yaaaaay! Im soooo intelligent!!!

    in the equation a+c=20 replace a with 10-b
    10-b+c=20
    c-b=10
    c=10+b

    in equation b+c=24, replace c with 10+b
    b+10+b =24
    2b=14
    b=7

    since a+b=10, replace b with 7
    a+7=10
    a = 10-7=3
    a=3

    since b+c=24
    c=24-7=17

    the dogs weight remains the same even if he carries rabbit or cat.
    the 2nd pic where he is 2okg with the rabbit is his own weight. the 3rd picture its his 2okg weight plus the 4kg weight of the cat
    the 4th picture is 24 because its the weight of the dog carrying the rabbit -20kg- plus the weight of the cat -4kg-
    i might be wrong but this is to my own understanding
