Pls fellow SDKers. I went to see an optician attached to my company. And after running a few tests the guy says I have to under go a process whereby dem go comot my eyeballs clean am then fix back again. Na true? Me I have never heard this before o. Why will they remove my eye balls to clean? Sounds funny to me. Hope it's not ritual tinz. Can anyone confirm please? God bless una

DeleteI've never heard of such. I'm a physician not an optician tho. Maybe you didn't understand him. Whatever you do hold on to your eyeballs

DeleteI once heard smtin like dat buh can't remember if d person was serious or joking ..... seek oda opinion abeg,mk dem nor use ur eyeballs do panya
DeleteIt's a medical procedure, not rituals, Nigerians are really so ignorant, we need a lot of awareness on health issues XxxbarbieXxx
DeleteRun away from there. There is nothing like washing eyeballs and placing them back.
DeleteWhat is your company doing with an optician on its retainership? The ignorance on eye health care is huge.
Pls an OPTICIAN is a technician trained in carving & fixing recommended glasses only. He has no business with eye care or surgery.
Please go look for an OPHTHALMOLOGIST (a medical doctor who has further undergone a six-year training after NYSC in all EYE AILMENTS AND SURGERIES under the sun).
Note, I didn't say Optometrist o.
Let an Ophthalmologist examine you and know the diagnosis... He/She is the only one who can give you professional advice and treatment without referral.
Google can help you to further understand these terms.
God bless.
Buhahahahaha!
DeleteLmao @ Worried eyeballs... I think av heard about dat procedure.... Bt am not really sure how true it is.... Y don't u give it a try first before jumping into conclusion...
DeleteIn one of the episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians I watched, Kim visited an eye doctor (can't remember which). She complained about not seeing things clearly and the doctor treated her by fixing gadget to her eyes to expand the eyelids and the tiny membrane covering the eyeballs were removed, the balls cleaned with something that looked like a brush (not too sure) and membrane replaced. So I think eyeball washing is possible. Technology is improving every day! Just ask the doctor to give you the full details so you are well informed.
DeleteUna thank u o. Didn't sound right to me. Or perhaps I missed out on what he meant. But from his explanation it had to do with removal and fixing, that was when I stopped to understand everything else that was said after that. I would seek high ranking professional as suggested. Una thank u jare
