Imelda-J" Blasts BET For Making Tiwa Savage And Mafikizolo Perform In Front Of Technicians And Passersby.

Afro Pop Artiste "Imelda J" has blasted organisers of BET Awards to stop humiliating and treating our Top African Super Stars like "sh*t".

The Benue Diva whose cousin was among the stage technicians that worked on the BET AWARDS stage, took to her twitter to Divulge top secret on how the international organizers, actually made Tiwa Savage and Mafikizolo to perform in an empty rehearsal room used by top American counterparts.

The singer stated that she had it from top accurate source, that all the people Tiwa Savage and Mafikizolo performed for where technicians, cleaners and workers that worked on the decoration of the BET Awards Set and not real fans or audience...OMG
     This isnt cool at all.

*Well if Tiwa isnt complaining,Imelda-J dont complain abeg!...sad though but it aint my business.

I was also wondering wen i watched it&also wondered y Davido's award wasnt presented at d main BET award show? These black Americans r worse dan whites sef! lets be honest,Im glad Lupita snobbed the bet awards at least let dem know she's not just for every Tom,Dick& Harry! She's way bigger dan their nonsense awards!yeye black pple dat dont know how to respect oda black Africans like dem.Lupita's fame came tru whites& not dem now they want to claim,im just angry at d way they treated our Nigerian stars, like piece of trash,

R u sure its d same bet award show we both watched?yea i know his award was presented to him but i watched dat show in full 2x& didnt see where it was featured or was it during commercisls? It wasnt done on dat bet award show&stage is wat im talking about, prolly back stage&it wasnt featured or incoporated into d main show which i find very bad&degrading of them.Even d whites wont do dat! They have loved Lupita selflessly&projected her to d world,an opportunity she'd not av gotten if d blacks were d ones in control,i hear some of them r even jealous dat who is she&where did she come from to claim fame higher dan theirs after they'v worked hard for years& years, they dont want oda Africans to shine cos they know dat in truth Africans av real talents.Lupita knows dat prior to now they'v not associated wit her but for her new found fame projected to d world by the white pple made possible by dSteve Mcqueen. In all honesty its kinda safer to be loved by dem& i know if it was their award show they wuld have put the International act category in d main show for d world to see without hard feelings but be rather happy to celebrate us rather dan wat dse our stupid black brothers&Sisters av done.Im just so pissed by their actions

  8. Well why would they rent them a hall when they don't have a public in LA?
LA does not have much of a black population and even less africans. Who was going to fill those venues? The BET Experience concerts are usually in LA Live or the Stapples center, can they fill those venues? NO. So people really need to stop talking rubbish. I don't think it was a diss. Many artist do free performances to the public around this time of the year in opened venues. Angelic Kidjo did one for the City of LA 2 weeks ago and this is a Lady that sells out weeks in a row in Broadway. Many of these "passers by" probably discovered those African act. By the way last year I went to the BET experience and the area where Tiwa performed was where they had a late night show for common, the roots and some other artists.

  10. Unfortunately, she seems to be telling the truth. African artistes are competition for the African American Artistes so they do everything within their power (Politics) to crush the competition. Why weren't they 'recognised' on the main stage? Why isn't Tiwa a top performer in the U.S? Politics, that's why. They would rather use her writing skills and pay her real good money to be in the background. Like you said Stella Dimoko, None of these artistes are complaining but smiling all the way to the cash machines. So, we should mind our own BEENEEz. My eyes are hurting slightly from the 'Passerby' pictures. What a sight this must have been for Tiwa and Co. Still minding my BEEEnEZ. OH Lawd.

Don't forget that the African artistes just broke into the American mainstream, you don't expect tiwa to be bagging same money that Beyoncé is bagging, so shut up. People should learn to cut their coats according to their size. If these Africans choose to be stepping stones, then fine be it.. But don't expect a Nigerian, based in Nigeria to be as known as American stars..

Absolutely no talent. It's not about BET, it's about the advertisers that pay for the show. The deep pockets will never allow Tiwa to play on the main stage at prime.
