GOV Akpabio Says Death Awaits Politicians Seeking Power Through Backdoor....OMG!

DEATH?????????

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, on Wednesday July 16,2014 via Punch said death awaited politicians seeking power through the backdoor in the state.

He warned political gladiators in the state against struggling for power without decorum.
Akpabio added that all those who had betrayed him would not enter the Government House in 2015.

Speaking in Uyo during the turning of the sod for the construction of the People’s Democratic Party secretariat in the state, the governor said those craving for power must be loyal to constituted authority, describing power as procedural.

He said...
“Just as God threw Lucifer unto the Earth, those who have betrayed the governor of Akwa Ibom State will not enter the Government House. And because of impatience, Absalom (son to King David) wanted to take over by killing King David. And when David heard, he asked the people to leave him. This did not end up well with Absalom. He died before his father. Those who want to take power through the backdoor will die and the PDP will continue,”

*Death?Natural or what?na wah oooh.

Quoting the bible in this circumstance is not the same as the bible abeg!

  27. "Akpabio added that all those who had betrayed him would not enter the Government House in 2015" you are sounding like dictator Mr Man, you are ruling your state like a private company take it easy. I am sure you must be sad leaving that seat because you never know if your next Governor will become another Abia state governorship drama. It's democrazy everyone has enemy even you are enemy to AK with your dictatorship attitude you have created more enemies than friends. People think you are working not everyone will see you as one including me, Reasons because most of you none "elected officials"(because our vote don't count) steal more than the work you guys show us.

  39. Lyk seriously, 2015 elections in Akwa Ibom will require a lot of over time from God o. Y'all need to see the tension gripping the whole town. So much tribal sentiments being bandied about, intimidation of journalists, lobbying and sweet talking traditional and church leaders, etc. Even kidnapping li'l kids n adults is being done underground.

Politics in Akwa Ibom is Do or Die. Na God hand ordinary masses dey o.

  40. There is a misunderstanding here. Akpabio couldn't have said all these. Even if he said so; he isn't foolish to mean people will die. Death in this context means political career death. And as for the bible Quote defines one thing; no one can excel when he/she has betrayed a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Akpabio is an intelligent being. All these that has been written down is impossible to come from Akpabio. I can imagine a man of honour and great common scense standing in public to wish "death" on his people. We all know if someone betrays a lot he cannot succeed neither will his ambition in the Government house be alive.

  42. Seriously guys? not a fan of politicians and all but come on! We have chosen to misinterprete this statement on purpose. We all know the story of Absalom and Lucifer which he cited here and we all know the means they both tried to use to get power and the atrocities they commited in the process, we also know how they both ended. One died by a tree and the other, got something worse than death. This is the literal meaning Akpabio probably tried to specify when he used "death". No one mentioned murder, well i guess you all need a topic , so here's one, go ahead and have fun. But be wise with it, dont sound stupid trying to have an opinion.
