In a case of jackpot amnesia,a punter forgot he had won more than $700,000 in Tattslotto.

The Melbourne man said he knew he had won but simply put his ticket away and forgot about it.....He checked his ticket in February and when he realised he had won Tattslotto, he thought he'd be excited, but it turns out he was just overwhelmed by it all.

The man only remembered about his win when he saw a news story about the unclaimed prize money.The unregistered winning ticket was sold in Bourke Street in Melbourne's CBD on February 22.
