clinic, the sister said to the receptionist my brother
has ebola the doctor being a yoruba man shouted from
his office EBOKINI? Olorunmaje ki ari oriburuku he ran

DeleteOMGG HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can't stop laughing ehhh
Deletevery funny. However this joke made me think that what if some people are having the symptoms already.where can they go to complain. or get tested. shouldn't there be centres across lagos with trained personnel ready to handle such cases to prevent d spread?
DeleteHope they bury him in his country sha.. That's my own.
DeleteI know this is a joke... but my response to comic relief can be so rigid that it will take a whole lot to get me cracking. Even though i'm a very cheerful person. I don't know why but everyone could find a thing funny and I would just be aloof, wondering why I can't join in..lol. Just like so many stand up comedians, I never find them funny. I tire for myself biko. *rme*.
Haaaahaaa @ sisi eko! You are a clown! Well there is nothing wrong in being yourself!!! Its not a must that 'everyone' must laugh @ every joke!
DeleteHaaaahaaa @ sisi eko! You are a clown! Well there is nothing wrong in being yourself!!! Its not a must that 'everyone' must laugh @ every joke!

DeleteIn the present circumstances, I think this is in poor taste.
ReplyDeleteWe're facing a potential catastrophe and people can still make such jokes! I know Nigerians are supposedly the happiest people on earth, but mehn, there's a line that needs to be drawn.
Hia, take irisi baby. Ebola shall not kill u, u can still laugh if u want, cos only serious people are in d grave, so culu temper. *still laughing and entering d bathroom over the ebola joke*
DeleteMehn Nki,m I'm with you and Pinkshell, this is not Funny and uncalled for, there are situations where you can make joke and people will appreciate it, I've been thinking since Yesterday, someone said something about squeezing and touching people in Buses, how careful can you be?
DeleteStella it's easy to laugh when you are Miles away, I'm in Lagos to Visit and I'm sooo scared. We have an Epidemic rising, and you just had to turn this to a post.
I agree with you. The joke is not funny at all. Talk about a poor and distasteful joke! Please if you can appreciate the seriousness of the virus because u think u are safe abroad remember it came to Nigeria through a Liberian. We all need to create proper awareness.
DeleteIn poor taste. Those finding it funny are most likely nowhere near Naij. We here are shitting our pants when a guest comes thru the door. I find myself rushing to greet people with sanitizer at the door!
DeleteNa wa o! So funny I forgot to laugh. Mtshewwww
ReplyDeleteYou people should loosen up! This story is so not real! Y so serious? Hian! Still laughing though LMAO

ReplyDeleteWen Reality hits,u will know how scary it is.
With our crowded environment, church, school, market, place of work etc
Viral infections are always difficult to treat.
I pray we get a soln soon
This "joke" is in bad taste.
ReplyDeleteLines have to be drawn on certain issues. You do a post about a dead man and follow it up immediately with a joke about what supposedly killed him, whilst yet millions might be in danger of contracting the disease. Distasteful and insensitive much.
ReplyDeleteGbam!!! You are so correct my dear.
DeleteNot funny!
ReplyDeleteNot funny!
ReplyDeleteChimoooo hahahahahahahah
ReplyDeleteSee. I forgot to laugh.
ReplyDeleteMaking jokes about an epidemic doesn't really strike me as funny.
Mrs. BitchBiko
I will love a comedy film on this ebola starring funke akindele and john okafor. Who missed me?
ReplyDeleteOmg! My laughter woke everybody up this morning. This is really funny.
ReplyDeleteAs for people who think its a serious situation, as such people shd not make joke out of it, dont forget that most jokes come from serious issues.
Just wash your hands regularly and try as much as possible to eat food that contains garlic. If possible cut garlic into bits a swallow. Its virus and you all know that virus has no cure.
When we had swine flu here people where just told to wash their hands regularly.
Stella atop hoarding my comments. I made 2 comment on this post and I can only find one.. And it took me time to type that ling epistle... I don't like this anymore... Not cool
ReplyDeleteChai....me nd iya ibadan don laff fall 4 ground 4 here oooooo!!! Very funny!!!..............................OKIJA WIFE
ReplyDeleteIts baffling that some people find this funny! IMHO, it's not even funny on a normal day, talk more of now that people are dying from this socalled "joke"!
ReplyDeleteYes it is funny but when you think of the dead man then it is not.
ReplyDeleteIt's NOT funny and quite insensitive abeg.
