  17. It was a terrible experience for me, had to go back to town and wait till 11pm to go home. Accommodation is a big problem in Abj and the government is not doing anything about it. Lungu is supposed to be an area mapped for either a road or a rail line, but people started building in the area because of accommodation problem. The residents were told to vacate anyway but the question is, where do u want them to go? And a lot of Gwari people stay in lung as well. RIP to the dead. Stella please I would like u do to make a post on house rents in major cities in Nigeria, rent in Abuja is way too high. To get a two bedrooms flat in Gwarinpa here, you pay as much as 1.2 million and mind u Gwarinpa is not town o, when you talk about wuse, mitama and co then make sure u have a lot of money in your account.

    1. GEJ is completely wrong for that position. The blood shed that has gone unchecked under his few years as president will most likely have surpassed that of the civil war.
Even if you want to come up with the argument that it's the hausas trying to frustrate him, that doesn't justify his return to that seat a second time. His quest for power is not worth losing lives like this for another four years. He doesn't seem to have any solution, and worse off, he doesn't seem to give a hoot. It's just sad.

Ain't justifying them neither, either am i supporting the deceased...if not for anything, they would have just listened to the woman's plea and granted her benefit of doubt before further demolishing.#ItsWell

  29. nigerian sha, there is no way they will demolish without notice seriously,i feel it was the carelessness of the woman, that is the new method they use now to stop demolition.that is the same crap they pull in one shanty close to my estate, a baby died in the process,so they couldnt demolish the place anymore, and an estate who owe the land cant develop the land anymore, those are places you go,you wonder are we still in abuja?,.sometimes the people are the cause

      without notice seriously#GodBlessYou

*And now no one will want to trace the origin but will want to justify with the end result.. The woman even proved her stupidity by killing her self, am so sorry to be this rude, but that's the honest truth....there is no justifiable reason on earth for anyone to take one's life or another... Emotional blackmail ain't my thing.

@anon12:56pm...smh4u... Well, i forbid that for her and returns it back to your lame gullibility cells... Let us for once call a spade a spade biko... Resist trouble and temptations will flew from you....

  32. It was indeed a terrible situation. I live inside Gwarinpa. I got to Gwarinpa a few mins b4 4:30pm. The road just b4 galadimma gate was blocked wiv pple protesting by sitting on the road. Police equally blocked the road 2 prevent any form of violence. Kubwa express road was worse cuz no entry 2 kubwa from town and no exit from that axis 2 town either . People were trekking including school children. Finally got home just a few mins b4 7pm, a distance that wld av taken me less than five mins. Thank God

  33. People are the architects of their misfortunes.... They have give them several notices to vacate that place so I don't see why that woman would still have her child there and not leave like the rest.....it's a pity but people should learn to obey instructions... People who are not meant to be in Abuja should stay in their villages and farm..... Nature has provided much for us but everybody even people who have no skills or anything to offer wants to remain in the city by force.... If u can't afford rent stay in your village where u have a family house and farm...most of these shanties are a nuisance and a den for all kinds of miscreants
