According to the olofofo who sent this in ''Federal housing authority was demolishing a village in Gwarinpa called Lungu and killed one person by mistake because one of the house pulled down had someone sleeping…….
The riot was mild as at 2pm the rioters blocked Galadima which is a main gate to Gwarinpa estate ....
When the news spread,it Became a major riot and they blocked the major express leading to Kubwa ''
who knows anything about this riot?

ReplyDeleteTo be frank, my heart skips each time I want click this blog, for fear of not knowing what I'll see. So many heart wrecking news everywhere. May God help us.
ReplyDeleteThe way things are done in this our country baffles me.

DeleteDon't mind them Attitude, some many of them are duplicating themselves in this blog, we know them
DeleteThose of you in government should take it easy on the masses please! There is too much poverty in the land. You all are busy looting the nation and you have not been stoned! Have mercy on the common man!
ReplyDeleteYes so sad, I stayed 4hrs in dat holdup, I live in Kubwa, but I dnt tink anyone died in dat demolitions, those foolish hausa boys were just angried dat their ""huts" were demolished. Ndi hausa na nsogbu.
ReplyDeleteGallant chic you are a BIG fool! Did you even read the story? Between at what time of the day did you attend school? Cause even those when go night school no dey use that word 'angried'
DeleteStella ...I stayed on dat road from 4pm - 10pm. Its d worst hold up I have ever experienced! Meeehn it wsnt funny! Dey had already dispersed wen we got to galadima...so dnt really kno wat happened
ReplyDeleteIn a country where there is a leader, federal workers are killing people anyhow AnD the government is silent abt it? I weep for my dear Country and I pray that very soon power will change. God will deliver us from the captivity of the mighty.
ReplyDeleteAm just hearing about this.
ReplyDeleteHow can they be so careless like this , demolishing a house without first thoroughly checking.
It was a terrible experience for me, had to go back to town and wait till 11pm to go home. Accommodation is a big problem in Abj and the government is not doing anything about it. Lungu is supposed to be an area mapped for either a road or a rail line, but people started building in the area because of accommodation problem. The residents were told to vacate anyway but the question is, where do u want them to go? And a lot of Gwari people stay in lung as well. RIP to the dead. Stella please I would like u do to make a post on house rents in major cities in Nigeria, rent in Abuja is way too high. To get a two bedrooms flat in Gwarinpa here, you pay as much as 1.2 million and mind u Gwarinpa is not town o, when you talk about wuse, mitama and co then make sure u have a lot of money in your account.
ReplyDeletehaha true, once you stay in abj,you hv to learn how cut your coat , according to your pocket.there are some estate even pay in dollars,hw insane

ReplyDeleteOh no!!! This is wrong!!! How do you demolish a house without giving warning???
ReplyDeleteSays? Heard from government yet? Ofcourse no one will ever one to be found guilty.. So, the occupants will always say notice wasn't served while the government will always insist it was served.. Only God knows the truth.
DeleteWhichever way, i just wish the woman never killed her self especially the unborn.... Mtcheew!#AmHurt... RiP to the deceased...

Yeah it's true. Development control people came to demolish - and according to the occupants didn't get prior notice - a lady pleaded with d authorities that her little boy is in d house d bulldozer was about to descend on- de should give her a few minutes to get d kid out- but 4 whereeeee. D little boy was reportedly killed. D mother on seeing her dead son kuku carry knife end her pregnant self. D crowd on seeing this went haywire - burning tyres, blocking major roads. Of cus d
ReplyDeletedemolition stopped and d authorities wit der trailer load of soldiers- de carry for backup - took off. Sad**
OMG!!.....I can bet my breakfast that the said authorities are mallams.....
DeleteDey no dey hear word....always ready to kill...blood suckers!
U retarded fool. What has hausa got to do with it. Illiterate cunt. Smelly rotten magot infested whore.
DeleteOloshi.
So sad... Y r pple so careless wit lives? RIP 2 the dead. Must hv been a painful death!
ReplyDeleteNa wa oh, GEJ am ur fan bt am not happy with this. Dem 4 check 1st na.
ReplyDeleteMrs DAvido
GEJ is completely wrong for that position. The blood shed that has gone unchecked under his few years as president will most likely have surpassed that of the civil war.
DeleteEven if you want to come up with the argument that it's the hausas trying to frustrate him, that doesn't justify his return to that seat a second time. His quest for power is not worth losing lives like this for another four years. He doesn't seem to have any solution, and worse off, he doesn't seem to give a hoot. It's just sad.
Must people always blame jonathan for everything?do u think its easy to rule an already scattered country like nigeria?pls keep quiet
Deletenaija my country!
ReplyDeleteMst of the pple hu r fighting ryt nw are pple who knew ryt 4rm d onset dat dese places where they built their houses are illegal!
Bt of coz "dey mst live for abuja" coz dia pastor hu livs in maitama sed so.
Blue IvY
Dats a wrong thing to say blue ivy wen several lives r been lost....pls think with ur brain.
DeleteShut up! Blue dummy! Is dat y the will demolish a house with someone inside???? Click ur brain on before u blab next tym! Mofo
DeleteMay God strike you with Asperger's disease and down syndrome and autism in Jesus name. A child was murdered and his heart broken pregnant mother killed herself and this is the crap you spew???
DeleteDo you have any idea how difficult life is for the poor masses?
May the blood of the dead child, his mother and unborn dead baby be upon you and chase you every night till you apologize for the nonsense that you said.
1million like.you got it.
DeleteStupid idiot how many churche have u gone to where the pastors said they must live in Abuja? I don't blame idiots like you it's Stella who enable comments like yours that I blame.....
DeleteNigeria needs to have a justice system so that when someone dies, somebody must b held accountable. How can a pregnant woman beg u that her little son is in the house and you carry on with ur bulldozer?
ReplyDeletePlease if u are a politician, I beg u to have mercy on the common man. The poverty in Nigeria is not hear say. It is very real
Dats soo sad, Our Country is indeed useles... Y pull down a building without al necessary protocols taken 2 make sure no one is endangered...May their soul rest in peace

ReplyDeleteSays who my dear? Guess you are not a nigerian to have known... They must have served notice a long time. But defaulters will always try to outsmart.. Ain't justifying them neither, either am i supporting the deceased...if not for anything, they would have just listened to the woman's plea and granted her benefit of doubt before further demolishing.#ItsWell

They would have just allowed her take her baby now, so sad. May the baby RIP.
ReplyDeleteYes! That's the huge mistake they made, and should be persecuted severely accordingly for that....."They would have allowed her carry her baby"... Regardless, the woman f**ked up finally by taking her life. Simply put!

Stella is true I try sending the story and pix to you but my phone was down. I was very close to them Chia fear wan kill me yesterday I was among the first 30 cars everybody locked their cars and moved back the worst was when we started hearing gunshot inside Gwarinpa. Police came and they refused to go no until when milit tha was when they chased them away.
ReplyDeleteEven Charly boy came out 2 plead wiv them but they refused insisting they wanted 2 c Bala.
Deletenigerian sha, there is no way they will demolish without notice seriously,i feel it was the carelessness of the woman, that is the new method they use now to stop demolition.that is the same crap they pull in one shanty close to my estate, a baby died in the process,so they couldnt demolish the place anymore, and an estate who owe the land cant develop the land anymore, those are places you go,you wonder are we still in abuja?,.sometimes the people are the cause
ReplyDeleteMay ur child die under similar circumstances so that we can say it was from ur carelessness. Omo ale jati jati
Delete@naturelle... Spot on@nigerians sha, there is no way they will demolish
Deletewithout notice seriously#GodBlessYou
*And now no one will want to trace the origin but will want to justify with the end result.. The woman even proved her stupidity by killing her self, am so sorry to be this rude, but that's the honest truth....there is no justifiable reason on earth for anyone to take one's life or another... Emotional blackmail ain't my thing.
@anon12:56pm...smh4u... Well, i forbid that for her and returns it back to your lame gullibility cells... Let us for once call a spade a spade biko... Resist trouble and temptations will flew from you....

To think pple blindly bought lands there with millions of naira is heart breaking. Sad
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed a terrible situation. I live inside Gwarinpa. I got to Gwarinpa a few mins b4 4:30pm. The road just b4 galadimma gate was blocked wiv pple protesting by sitting on the road. Police equally blocked the road 2 prevent any form of violence. Kubwa express road was worse cuz no entry 2 kubwa from town and no exit from that axis 2 town either . People were trekking including school children. Finally got home just a few mins b4 7pm, a distance that wld av taken me less than five mins. Thank God
ReplyDeletePeople are the architects of their misfortunes.... They have give them several notices to vacate that place so I don't see why that woman would still have her child there and not leave like the rest.....it's a pity but people should learn to obey instructions... People who are not meant to be in Abuja should stay in their villages and farm..... Nature has provided much for us but everybody even people who have no skills or anything to offer wants to remain in the city by force.... If u can't afford rent stay in your village where u have a family house and farm...most of these shanties are a nuisance and a den for all kinds of miscreants
ReplyDeleteexactly what i alway say
