Some Nigerians can be stupid. Why is it that when they become successful or very rich, they simply say, they grew up poor. Poverty is a disease and all other stupid unintelligent remarks they make.
What is poverty? Poverty is when you cannot feed. You wear rags. You cannot afford major necessities. Poverty is not when you have a show but want a designer brand instead.

Please let us analyse this critically.
The pictures simply showed a young Peter. He was not without clothing, shoes neither was he begging on the road. He is rather well dressed, a yuppie so it is simply an unflattering picture of yesteryears (aka Surulere pix) and here he is, saying, Poverty is a bastard
Please, grow up. You guys were never poor. You are richer now but never poor so please, never you say such again. GEJ was probably poor cos he did not have shoes growing up. Errant nonsense.

  39. This picture just exposed these guys lies about their true age. They couldnt be less than 18 here(I was 19 then). This is the type of clothes they put on when they were coming around to check one girl in my neighbourhood in the late 90s.I was shocked to learn they are claiming 32 or thereabout now. They couldnt be called poor then, they dressed according to their exposure level.
