STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT JONATHAN APPOINTS NEW POLITICAL ADVISER AND SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Professor Rufa’i Alkali as his new Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
Professor Alkali, a Political Scientist, once served as National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and was appointed Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna last year. He hails from Gombe State.
The President has also appointed Hajia Baraka Sani as his Senior Special Assistant for Schools’ Agriculture Programme. Hajia Sani was until recently, the Kano State Commissioner for Agriculture.
Both appointments are with immediate effect.

This will not pacicy the northern oligarchy.They told GEJ from day 1 they were gonna make d country ungovernable and he took it with a pinch of salt and now no week goes by with out the innocent masses being murdered in droves.People who live below poverty level being butchered like goats.GEJ arrest these fingered politicians and let what wants to happen happen.Those innocent girls are veing left with beasts for this long,they will grow up bitter and messed up Pls do something sir

I've just found out that alkali is actually coined from an arabic word, so maybe not so far fetched as a muslim name.
It would have been quite fitting if he had ended up as a Chemist. #ramblingmode!
