I don't really blame them though, it's mainly due to poverty.

I hope they eat the rice and still vote the right person in!

  5. When will the electorate in Nigeria ever reason, and not vote people because of rice and some little money given to them? Vote a politician on merit and not on rice given to you, collect their food but don't vote for them, else when they get to power they will forget the masses and will be concerned in re-gaining the money used to buy rice during campaign

It's cos the edible' is needed for survival! pple are hungry, broke and naked' in dis country o,u won't understand till u get to the interiors..this has always been the strategies of our evil leaders nyway,to them, deprivation is the key'!:'keep them hungry and poor so they can be humbled and do as we say,not cos they want to,but cos they need wat we have to survive'!

  18. Stop selling ur birthright for a Mosel of food! U are selling ur vote! Hunger go finish una wen he enters cos he will first of all remove the money he' use to buy the rice plus the interest which will be times hundred of the capital! Ekite kente people wise up, Nigerians wise up! Never vote for anyone that sprays money or distribute food! They are not God they don't give free gifts

  20. Fayose distributes bags of rice, cash to varsity students
Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in next week’s election in Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose, on Friday, distributed rice to no fewer than 6,000 students of the Ekiti State University (EKSU).
Addressing the students, the governorship candidate told them the gesture was to help in their upkeep as they have decided to stay back in school after the authorities announced a closure of the institution ahead of the election.
The management of EKSU had on Monday, June 9, closed down the university and asked the students to go home in preparation towards the coming governorship election.
The students besieged Spotless Hotel located in GRA, Onigari in the state capital as early as 6:00a.m following a radio announcement by the Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation that the PDP candidate will be supporting the students with a bag of rice each and N2,000.
Fayose also assured them of slashing their school fees from N100, 000 to an affordable rate and put a stop to the era of no fees, no examinations if elected governor.
“With your support, I know that this election is already won. But I want to plead with you not to collect money from our enemy on election day. I’m ready to support you and ensure that you live a good life on campus,”he said..
To expand the scope of his gesture, Fayose declared that about 10,000 bags of rice will be distributed to market women across the state, while 6,000 bags have been allotted to 16 council areas. 15,000 bags are also to be distributed to other selected groups.

  25. Fayose Murdered Tunde Omojola in 2005

Tunde only came back to Nigeria to be killed by this "do or die" politician, after 9 years in Italy.
That was the first and only time he came home, he was the backbone and only son of his family. Tunde was beaten to death in presence of Fayose, all because he supported his brother in law who was contesting under the platform of A.D against Fayose's P.D.P. This is not the kind of leader we need in this country.

  26. Well this is the height of ignorance, off course they are selling their right. Instead of our useless politicians and news outlet through their media to educate citizens on right to vote they are busy sharing rice to poverty- stricken citizens. The so called rice will finish after a week so what’s next for them afterwards. Youths are busy supporting incompetent GEJ because of sentiment other citizens are busy supporting for rice and money. I hope people don’t come out next year and claim Nigeria is hard because the foundation we lay after general election,we have to deal with such foundation for another 4years. We want change but in practice we are not supporting good governance .

I remember the poultry project he invited Obasanjo to come and commission only for the owner to cry out it was his farm that was used without his permission. Ayo Fayose is as good as u_e_e_s. Ekiti people open your eyes!

When old women in anger and bitterness bared their breasts in a walk to protest, guess what dis uncouth man said?"see breasts that are flat!what are they baring? They should go to UNAD(the university) and see pointed erect breasts"
Lwkmd.Shows how he thinks,Always sex sex sex on his brain. a generous man sha,and doesn't send anybody. All the aristo girls in Unad den really enjoyed him.But he is too desperate.so many people died.Too desperate mehn! And d money he stole no get part 2.He still has a matter in court oh!imagine!and he has the galls to contest.and the sad part is he might actually win.
