DeleteFor a parent to go this far with a child, he must ve done a very terrible thing. Some some children want to li e on their parent forever, and some are greedy, uncaring and wicked to the parent, some children kills there parent to to take over there property. I ve seen a boy who sent robbers to there house,,,they robbed the whole compound and beat up his siblings including his dad and sisters,so what are we talking about. May GOD not give us evil children, ,amen. For a parent to go this far that means the guy in question has gone beyond repair.

DeleteStella don't be shocked oh. I am sure the parent must have undergone a lot in the hand of this kid to come out publicly to declare this. Some children can give so much sorrow that at times you wonder what you did wrong birthing them in the first place.

Guess maybe he has been doing a lot of bad stuffs like stealing,raping,juju,killing,seeling his dad property without his daddy's approval etc which his father wasn't proud of(cos OZO is attached to his name which is a title in Igboland)..and his father must ve called him on several occasions for him to turn a new leaf but since he refused to change;his Dad had no other option than to disown him soo as for him not to have access to certain things..abi u no see say the man talk make him no get anything from his will and for him to return the stuffs in his possesion...but I can tell u this is just temporary disowning cos with time,the man will still accept him back..Stellastica,e be like say u neva watch AMAYA at all..na soo e dey be na.

ReplyDeleteHave heard and seen parents wish their children dead, disowning is even a child's play. I heard of one that was plotting to poison her son after all efforts to make him change plus prayers did not work. The son was an armed robber and the parents were quite comfortable.
Some children are a constant source of heartache and pain to their parents.
In this circumstance, only God knows what happened, am not saying the son deserved it cuz I have no clue.
It is well.
when the parents start telling what they are going through, you will be 'double shocked'. My parents have the best kids in the world! shout out to every child who is not a thorn in his/her parents flesh. God bless you.

ReplyDeleteThis is too extreme,,but one cant really conclude since no one knows what transpired that could have made a father reach this conclusion......but i just hope the man didn't find out the son was not his biological child in the first place cos to me that's the only thing i think could make this man go that far.

Things were so bad that my mother felt that I was an embarrassment to her among her friends. She denied me and once openly stated that she disowned me. 3years later now she wants to rebuild our relationship because providencs has smiled on me....not going to happen. I disowned her back. Things can happen in this world. Just keep praying

My parents disowned me when I got pregnant out of wedlock at 25, went as far as disowning publicly in church et al.fast forward 10 years later, Dad was duped and became broke.mum was sick and hypertensive! Guess whose number they called after 10years? I travelled down to Naija, gave them 10 million naira each and with time they got back on their feet. Did they ask for forgiveness? No! Was it easy? No! Bottom line? Never play God cos you just can't tell!

DeleteHe didn't kill the son, he simply disowned him. The son should go and change his name and start his life brand new with a new identity. he ca go on build his own family, and move on with his life. For all we know the son could be Boko Haram, a rapist, ritualist, what not.
