    1. My dear God has given us all these herbs there to treat ourselves...it's there ..just in the farms and bushes they are right there and very inexpensive..I'm a testimony to these natural things and Iv seen many people it works for..dnt get me wrong.Doctora are very good and needed but in instances lik ds Doctors treat symptoms not the CAUSE..we need to treat the cause and live healthy lifestyles as God intended not the junk we humans have made to eat

      Delete
    2. Herbal medication is a no no quite alright, but there are some things dat can't possible cause harm even if it won't work. Don't u eat okro on a normal day?

      Delete
    3. Though I don't support 'agbo' or herbs/concutions..buh this one,I ª♍ loving it cos presently I don't think there is a cure for diabetes..specialists just help 'manage' diabetes...I read it somewhere that okra can do a zillion things yet to be explored..dizz the best news so far.

  12. Also, eat a lot of vegetables and moi moi, with little salt, eat rice, yam, cassava in small quantity but with plenty vegetables and carrots ... again with very little salt. Drink plenty water and say good bye to sugar and coke $ fanta ETC... Good luck.

    1. Remove rice, yam and cassava, these foods contains plenty sugar and trust me, any diabetic person eating them, regardless of the amt, is digging his/her own grave.

    2. Pls remove yam, rice and cassava instead add wheat, unripe plantain. U want to kill a diabetic wit carbohydrate

    3. Pls diabetic person don't eat carbohydrate meals. Its raises d sugar level. Rather wheat, unripe plantain, vegetables, friuts like cucumber, carrots, green garden egg are helpful. My hubby is diabetic and we ve been managing it well for 13yrs now. Will also try this Okra thing. Hope it work. Its well

    7. Dear anonymous 1.45, 2.12 and 5.56. Diabetes is a medical disorder that affects carbohydrate, protein and lipid(fat) metabolism. Not only carbohydrate alone as people used to think in the past. 2. Diabetic diet is now individualised to the patient's needs. Some patients based on the BMI(body mass index) will require a weight gaining diet, others a weight losing diet and some others a weight maintaining diet. In summary, a little of carbohydrates, protein, and lipids is advised. Whiile some foods and fruits are no no, some others, you can never get an excess of like the vegetables. Please do not comment so strongly next time about something you do not have the appropriate information on before you mislead innocent people who read it and believe you. Thank you

  14. Goodday sdk readers, yes my hubby used this and it significantly reduced his sugar level, we started taking it every other day, then now he just takes it at weekends. He has bn having high sugar level for abt two years. * I don't like the word diabetic * so I prefer high sugar level. We came across this information early this year and I have tried my best to spread it as wide as I can. We also keep to the diet plan but as we all know there is hardly any complete African meal without starch or a lil carbohydrate in it. Even the soo called wheat and plantain is still high. So, this is my testimony, I would advise you have a test b4 u start and another after 2weeks of constant take of the drink every other day. I pray it works for you as it did us. Pls don't put it in the the fridge, just normal room temperature. God bless you.

  30. I didn't use this therapy but what I used when my mum discovered my sugar level was high while I was preparing for my SSCE in 1999 helped reduced nd eliminate my high sugar level...although over the years I have tried to stay away from some certain diet... I can tell you it is hard, the sugr craving/sweet tooth of a diabetic is insane.
Simple, my mum blended bitterleaf and scent leaf and gave me to drink non-stop for 2weeks and my frequent urination stopped and ants stopped flocking around my urine.
And when I notice a certain weakness, thirst and frequent urination.... I consume more vegetables.
Thanks Stella for this, I will add this recipe to the oda one.

    3. Yes anon 10:38
Scent leaf is nchuanwu or arigbe. The one we Igbos use in making ofe akwu etc.
I also know drinking ugu leaf water helps reduce diabetes.

    4. Some times Diabetes is hereditary .so if u know ur mum or dad has it then consider yourself alot of work to do cus u know now 50/50 mum and dad might share something to there children and you can not know the categories of where u might fall into...

  31. What exactly does the sender mean when he/she says "diabetes will go away" and subsequently go on to say it reduces sugar levels in the blood?
These 2 insinuations to me as a doctor imply 2 different things:
    Going away --- cure
Reduce sugar levels --- manage viz-a-vis substitute for anti-diabetic medication
I am not excluding the possibility of a medical breakthrough here, but for those who want to try it i will give you some candid advice as follows:
    1. Ensure you own a glucometre.
    2. Check your fasting blood sugar daily @ least on 3 consecutive days prior to this experiment and keep a record (all this while eating your regular diet and taking prescribed medication)
    3. On D-Day, before taking the drink, check your blood sugar level, take the drink and 2hrs after eating your regular diet, check your blood sugar levels again. Then every 4hrs. In this time DON'T take your antidiabetic drugs.
NB: please ensure to know the early signs of low sugar levels, keep a bottle of coke handy as well as your insulin shot.
    4. Repeat 3 for @ least 3 days keeping record of your sugar level readings.
This way you can have @ least a verifiable record that this okro drink works!
If after being consistent for 7-14days and you no longer need th okro drink to keep your sugar levels within normal limits then thats a possible cure
If you cant keep your sugar levels within normal limits without the okro drink, then it is an can qualify as an alternative treatment.

  34. Swerve, you are wrong, all the different classes of food are required for one to be healthy.
However, for diabetic patients, they should do low carbs, eg very little quantity of rice with loads of veggies, very tiny eBa and loads of okro etc

I know cuz I have a family who almost passed cause of lack of sugar

    ReplyDelete
  35. IF you are a man, consult your doctor before doing this, as okra is known to contain the compound isolated from Gossypium. The use of Gossypium from okra (gossypol) has been abandoned for contraceptive use because it was found to cause permanent infertility in ten to twenty percent of users.

Summary - Intake of okra or its compounds (in most forms) can cause permanent infertility in men.

Please check with your doctor before doing this if you are a man.
