Adamawa Governor Murtala Nyako Served With Impeachment Notice.


Vanguard reports that the Adamawa House of Assembly has served the governor of the state, Murtala Nyako and his deputy Bala Ngilari with an impeachment notice......a second time.




The notice which was signed by 19 of the 25 members of the Assembly, was served on grounds of  “gross misconduct,” 
Commenting via Ahmad Sajoh, his Director of Press and Public Affairs,the embattled governor says:


“Members of the House are planning something that will end up making them the sole beneficiaries, where the Speaker will be the acting governor and the deputy speaker becomes the deputy governor.” 

This will be his second impeachment notice,the first was in 2008.

  11. Good question. Gross misconduct relating to what? Infact his impeachment notice was sppsed to have been served since the day his state came under attack. And na sidon look dem de do since. Since they have wiped out almost 80 percent of his state, he dsnt really have plenty people to govern, abi na cattle and vegetables e de rule now?
