Where Are All Our Nigerians Activists? #BringBackOurGirls

I dont know if i am the one not understanding this well but i thought we had a lot of noise makers in Nigerian?people who have been using their voice to try and make sure the
government gets it right......where are they now?why are we not hearing them lend their loud voices to #BringBackOurGirls?

I dont want to pick on anyone particularly but some supposed activist' silence is disturbing....I hope all is well?
Hmmm!

  1. Stella sometimes you are tired of a situation that you don't know how or what to do about it. I believe they do pray for the girls to be found, which is still good.

    1. Anty Stella,SSS now arrest activist on twitter,so imagine what might happen to them if they shout and hit the streets of Lagos or abuja,democracy-is far practiced in this government and i don't know why, anyone who speaks or talks negatively about the government seems to be arrested, so i don't blame them.

  4. We have no activists in Nigeria. CNN is the only tv station that is pushing the international community to respond . Our Nigeria tv stations, ait, stv, channels, and all will not act by pushing d nonesense government , All dey do is help d governors and all those in power to steal money. None sense country.

  10. I see light at the end of the tunnel. The end of Boko haram has come. Remember what happened to Pharoah and he ended?
God hardened his heart before eventually destroying him and his people.

Like i said in the other post, with the support from US and France and other countries, they will get them. The only thing is that, we will all be shocked at revelations that will cpme up when they are caught.

PS : For those of us that live in UK let me use this medium to inform you that there will be another protest/vigil this coming weekend in front of the Nigerian embassy to add more pressure to the govt and also remind them that we are watching and we will not let this REST.

  12. I understand you very well Stella, and know that we have a lot of Yorubas Activists, but sometimes i don't blame them for keeping quiet, cos no one is happy with Northern people. I don't know how to say this, but this same area of Nigeria that has been causing troubles for ages for this country, this same area of Nigeria, giving Nigeria bad name outside. I know some people will be saying..., let them kill and kidnap themselves, when they are all dead, maybe there will be peace in Nigeria. But still there are innocent once with good heart there and innocent children, lets speak for them, save them and pray for them.

And again why haven't Hamza al-Mustapha said anything yet, i thought he was the one traveling around Nigeria, saying that he want peace in this country. Sad :(

    1. My dear, ur head correct. Southerners are unconcerned because they view everyone in the north as a hausa muslim, but the truth is there are very large population of christians and other tribes. Even taraba state has more christians than muslims. The population of terrorists n violence-loving muslims are less than 5% of the population, but they are wielding all the power. I pray for the poor innocent people in those terror ridden parts of the north.

  17. They have to investigate too and know what really happened and what they are dealing with before they protest. Nigerians get your facts first before you speak or act, we have freedom of information bill passed make use of your rights, question as much as you can find your own truth, know what the truth is before you condemn or criticize . Act right

  19. Stella don't mind, Nigerians in diaspora carry am 4 head pass, no protest in the north whatsoever na lagos, abj, london, newyork. Una dey cry pass the bereaved. Na wetin mama peace been dey talk una dey laff. Una carry am for head pass people wey get the pikin. Make America and co no disgrace themselves like they did in Iraq!

  20. Why haven't YOU used your position as a "prominent blogger" to organize protests in Germany where you are? Smh

    ReplyDelete
  21. Stella, I want to ask you, how will the activists 'lending their voice' change anything? the protest of grieving mothers hasn't changed anything- I mean, what voice can be more than that?

The international community lending their voices nko? Michelle sef dey lend her voice. Patience Jonathan 'lending her own cries' nko? Nigeria is the subject of international news..yet nothing abi you want make the activist turn to spirit go possess Jonathan and start to dey act through him?

Let's just see how all these play out and hope that our girls be returned in one piece.

    1. The noise ppl made is wat brought about international recognition and this in turn forces the govt. to act! So yes! Making noise on social media goes a long way to help. Its changing the face of governance and leadership in the country.
