OKPEKPE ROAD RACE 2014








Okpekpe is more than just a collection of fertile farmlands or a window into the past, it is a living modern village of approximately 50,000 people and it played host yesterday to its second annual road race.

No of participating countries included Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Cameroon and Nigeria .
 The Okpekpe Road Race starts in Apama Road and ends in Okpekpe (Auchi), Edo State and is a stretch of 10 Kilometres over hills and sandy path, the first in Nigeria.
