ReplyDeleteGood for them. They have entered this union with their eyes wide open. They both have issues from their past that would make anybody question marrying them.They are both not saints.
ReplyDeleteIn the early 2000's when Francis was married to two women, he had a long term relationship with one of the younger Poge girls (she looks like Helen's younger sister). That shows you that even as a polygamist with two wives,that seemingly got along,(remember when he had both the light and the dark skinned wives on the pages of Ovation, after the dark skinned one graduated top of her class?) he could not stay faithful to them or his mistress.
He wanted to marry her(Poge) as a third wife(she was younger than 22 at the time), he also wanted her to get pregnant.She lived in his guest house in Lagos for a long time.
Like Helen, she grew up in Warri and has a well off father - both money-miss-road really.
As for Helen, she and her friends did runs even while dating men of questionable character. 419/drugs/money laundering/oil bunkering/politics,married, it did not matter, as long as they spent money foolishly,lavishly and were tacky about it.
So a former serial cheater and a former runs girl marry,his third, her second,congratulations.
That said,that was their PAST that I know of,they both deserve each other.
