OMG Aisha please wipe your tears,GOD is not sleeping on this case...Toba Falode's killer(s) must do time for killing him in February this year.
19year old Toba was pushed off a high rise building in Dubai and his killer still walks free after boasting about the killing.
Aisha and her lawyer Festus Keyamo recently met with the house committee on diaspora affairs and from the pics it shows her case will not be swept under the carpet....#Justice4TylerFray aka Toba Falode!
Sleep and peace of mind died the day her son was killed,i still imagine her receiving that phone call and i hear her scream,i hear her cry,i hear her call on God.....I cry also!

# JUSTICE FOR TOBA STROMS NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On Tuesday 27th May, 2014, Aisha Falode stormed the House of Representatives with her campaign for justice in the murder of her son Toba Falode who was murdered in Dubai on the 14th of February, 2014.
In the entourage were human rights activists Mr. Festus Keyamo, social crusader, Mrs. Odumakin as well as other activists. The campaign commenced with a public hearing organized by the House Committee on Diaspora. Hon. AbikeDabiri who is the Chairman of the Committee declared the public hearing open with assurances that the Committee was doing all in its powers to bring the killers to justice.
In an emotional remark, Mrs. Aisha Falode thanked the Committee for their support and urged the Committee to assist her in mounting pressure on the United Arab Emirates authorities to prosecute her son’s killers. In their remarks, both Mr. Festus Keyamo and Mrs. Odumakin agreed that it was necessary for the government to be proactive to stem the tide of the incessant killing of Nigerian students in foreign climes. Other member of the Committee were unanimous in their support for Aisha Falode’s cause.
At the end of the public hearing, the campaign proceeded to the office of the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives where they were received by the leadership
of the House of Representatives including the Speaker, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, the minority leader, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the majority whip of the House as well as the House Leader, Hon. Mulikat Adeola.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives informed Mrs. Aisha Falode that following the receipt of her petition, the House of Representatives reached out to the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that both agencies have recorded tremendous progress in persuading the Dubai authorities to re-open the investigations as well as prosecute the killers.
Toba Falode died on the 14th February, 2014 when he was allegedly pushed out of the balcony of his 17th floor apartment by the son of an influential Dubai based business mogul. The Dubai Police allegedly compromised the investigations and Mrs. Aisha Falode still pursues justice.

ReplyDeleteTo lose a hale and hearty young man in his prime like this is extremely painful. Bringing the killers to book, will at least lessen the mother's pain.

ReplyDeleteThis is so pathetic may almighty God bring his killers to justice and wipe away the tears of Aisha Falode. But it must not end there lots of Nigerian are killed frequently unjustly all over the world i live and school in Ghana and have witnessed in personal capacity some of this deaths just because they are Nigerians and nobody i mean no one seeks justice for them no Festus Keyamo, No Joel Odumakin, N Abike Dabiri nor the house committee on diaspora despite appeals and cry by citizens but now because a known and prominent individual is involved we are all now showing care isn't that selected concern we all deserve to be care for.The truth must be told.
