A newborn has been rescued from a toilet after its mother gave birth and tried to flush the baby down the toilet.
The woman had not realised she was pregnant and had gone to the hospital in China with stomach pains.
When she went to the toilet she then went into labour and gave birth.
According to doctor Gao Yuwen, who was on duty, he heard someone shouting in the corridor at around 1am.
'I dashed out, and found people gathered outside a bathroom.
'A woman was hectically knocking the door, asking the other woman inside to open the door.'
'She went into the bathroom and locked herself in and in a short time I heard a baby's cries from inside and knocked on the door asking whether she was okay.
After failing to persuade the woman to open the door a security guard broke it down.
Doctor Gao says: 'I saw a baby was immersed in the toilet pan crying heavily and was still connected to her mom with an umbilical cord.'
Both mother and baby are fine.culled

Infact the ones have watched,its always stomach pains that take them to the hospital and then you see that they have the urge to push(The are always re-enacted tho)

In Nigeria here,i know of a slightly over weight girl that broke up with her then boyfriend,8months later...she fell ill..only for the doctors to say that not only was she pregnant,she was in labour(probably forced labour)..you can imagine the shock and disbelieve!!!

ReplyDeleteThere's a documentary I saw focussing on such women. It's difficult to convince me of most things but after watching that documentary, I believe some women actually don't know they are pregnant until delivery.
ReplyDeleteIt's not even about not showing, some very slim pregnant women don't show. But all the other symptoms were totally absent in such women. Some continued to drink, smoke, do drugs, didn't take pregnancy supplements and they still had healthy babies.
Qutie, I'm 7mnths gone and I look like an overfed lady but That doesn't mean I don't know I'm pregnant.

I just had my baby in December until I was 7 months pregnant I didn't know I was pregnant. I had my monthly periods I drank and all I only added weight nothing extra ordinary. I am a uk size 12. I only found out I was pregnant because I was very sick my husband took me to mayday hospital in South London thinking I was passing a gall stone only to be checked by doctors they told me I was pregnant in fact I was in labour. I've never felt so confused in my life. It's my first child and my baby is doing ok . It's a blessing but please things happen do not judge people. You should watch the show called " I didn't know I was pregnant". Until it happened to me I never thought it was possible but I guess we live n learn daily .

DeleteThe baby was surely kicking but I never for once thought it was a baby . I have no reason to lie. I never went to antenatal . What I thought were just extra gas or food or whatever moving in my tummy was actually my baby. I had a normal period I didn't vomit for one day neither did I feel tired or anything.

Some women get their period once or twice a year and when it's coupled with circumstances like this they may not know they are pregnant till it's due

ReplyDeleteI dint know I was pregnant for the 1st 4 months, being froma religious home, if we have headache we pray and ask our alfa to pray with us and it works for us, I just noticed I could not go to the toilet for 5 days, my food weren't digesting I could not even eat again, our alfa prayed and just said I was pregnant, lo and behold took a test and it was positive

Even if a woman still sees her period, never vomits, became very active and never had any "big belle" signs, it doesnt mean she wasnt aware she was pregnant. Did u watch out for other signs like mood swings, coloured urine, breast pains and enlargement, linea nigra, baby kicking or any funny sound in the stomach and above all swollen legs and increased hips? Also a penis doesnt have to penetrate u before pregnancy occur, Insemination can get you pregnant. I lost a dear friend to abortion due to the the stupidity of her mother. ReplyDeleteOlodo mood swings, colored urine etc are symptoms of other ailments too not only pregnancy. Unless you specifically suspect pregnancy, a mood swing is not enough to prompt a pregnancy test.
DeletePeople can indeed not know that they are pregnant. My aunt had no morning sickness, no weight gain, had her period every month and didn't know she was pregnant till she was 6-7 months gone. I said aunty but you were having unprotected sex obviously so it should have crossed your mind. Turns out she was on birth control.
Some people don't experience any clues, some do but are too inexperienced to know it's pregnancy especially teenagers. Was it not in china a couple had been trying for a baby for years only to discover after visiting the doctor that the man had been mistaking the anus for vjj all along.
