The Akere family has said Isaac Akere, who died in the Ikorodu boat accident on the Majidun
river along with his fiancee, Foluke, few days to their wedding, was separated from his first wife, Feyi.
The family said Isaac, prior to his death in the ill-fated boat, had instituted a divorce suit against Feyi.
The late Isaac's Family and Feyi have been exchanging words on various print portal since the mishap and it is really a pity that they cannot even find peace at this time.
The first estranged wife alleges they had taken possession of Isaac's car and other properties and even the two daughters she had for the deceased and the family said Feyi should come for a talk with them.
Why do people use death to settle scores?does it matter what happened between them?The man is gone,they should look for a way to bury their dead and make peace…that's all!

Hmmm. But what is the issue here? If Isaac has properties his kids should own it automatically. Even if they went to court he would have had to fend for his kids anyway. But I guess his family want to stress Feyi because she was estranged from him before death. In a little while they'll blame her for the unfortunate mishap that killed him and his new wife to be. Shebi it's Nigeria, wait and see.

If the children were with the man before his death, that means he had their custody. All the woman needs to do is to apply to the court for their custody. If he made a will, the will will decide how his property is to be disposed. If there is no will, the intestate law of succession prevails. As for the woman, if they truly divorced before his death, let her be careful, the two families that lost their children may be bitter now. Rose
