A former deputy governor of Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, has been declared winner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primaries in the state.

Mr. Omisore was announced on Saturday as winner of the primaries by the chairman of the Organising Committee, Adamu Aliero, a former governor of Kebbi State.

  2. This man was accused of killing Pa Bola Ige now he wants to be Governor of the state, the name of the government house is called Bola Ige's House. How can he sleep at night knowing fully well that where he occupies is named after the man he killed? He should be in jail not government house.

  9. first of, i hate when i read baseless comments. people say whatever they like because they cannot be penalized for it, omisore did not kill chief Bola Ige, it was pinned on him because they had a fight a day before, also ADELEKE who is suppose to be a member of the pdp was used by apc to distabilize pdp, because Aregbe sees Omisore as a threat and this is so because he now knws that people now know the truth about Omisore and also no more fooled by him thereby planting ADELEKE to distrupt things......Also he ket promoting the violent idea which is far from the true......i love APC but aregbe has not been a good example in Osun state and this is a known fact....
