Personality of the year on what grounds na???
The award should go to chimamanda or Lupita
    Omotola is so overrated

  12. The organisers should replace the last 2 categories (none music categories ) and (transform today by absolute ) with best music producer of the year award and best video music producer of the year to encourage producers instead of categories that makes no sense. They already got awards in other areas relating to their careers. Davido should win best male artist,Artist of the year because 2013 was really his year, Best song of the year. Best female should go to Chidimma to encourage young female artist but doubt she will win since tiwa is there. Best group psqaure, best new act Burna boy, best live Fally ipupa, best collaboration R2bees feat wizkid. Best hip hop sarkodie, best pop Fuse ODG. #myopinion#

  19. Omotola is over-rated with Yoruba press pushing her. They are just wasting other people's chances. If Nse had won the Times 100, should would have landed a big role in Hollywood. Let Omotola go and take care of her family abeg, she is not that good.

  20. I wonder why people would attack Omotola for been on the list; She is a humanitarian in Africa, she gives back, she was on gen-voices;Chimamanda is a great writer with an annoying attitude, Lupita promotes the black woman and won an Oscar; if Lupita wins its because of the hype, Omotola deserves it-my opium.

  21. Omotola is a winner anyday ,anytime. Useless haters! That fool calling a married woman who there has NEVER been a scandal on ashawo? Your entire family are the ashawo and the actresses that we all know you're trying to pull omo tola down for! Guess what. Upon all their lies, hate and skims ..l they are not on the list! Omo tola the silent achiever keeps winning.

  23. And who is chinamanda that it is an insult to put her in same category as the Great omotola? You people are fools oh! Omo tola who is a UN ambassador, a great actress, 100 most influential by Time magazine...mother and wife ? Who is chinamanda? A writer who won Nobel Lorett? Then what? Una dey craze in this Naija sha.

  24. April 17, 2014 at 5:29 PM shut up do you know what it is to win a nobel prize? I am not a fan of chimanda as i see her as a woman that does not have respect but putting omotola in the same category with chimanda is an insult. it is like comparing an elephant and an ant they can never be the same EOD.

    ReplyDelete
  25. What has chimamanda done besides write really good books and tell you to 'be a strong woman'??? ℓ☺ℓ,lupita is just a product of good PR,that's all, I mean I watched 12 yrs a slave after she got her oscar and couldn't get the hype. OmoT isn't that big of a deal too but has carried out commendable humanitarian roles. Depends on what their criteria are though. All the best to all three. The category in my opinion was totally uncalled for though

    ReplyDelete
  26. Everything will always boil down to ethnicity. Why the hate on omotola because she is Yoruba and Chimamanda is Igbo?Bigotry will kill Igbos.
