Malivelihood CEO Denies Customized iPhone Tales At Faith Sakwe's Wedding...

this does not sound like a speech for only ten iphones oh.

Well Michael, the CEO of Malivelihood has come out to deny that he was contracted to supply iPhones at the wedding of President Jonathan' daughter Faith.....

He told Fejiro Oliver  via email

''The iphone was a gift from us to the couple. We just thank the President and we hope he receives one of the only 10 iphones we made for his daughter as a gift. [Like I] said in the other email, it was only 10, people got the statement wrong I think. But people saw the gift bag design made for them as well as a gift and they think it was phone inside the bag, so everything was misunderstood. Even the gifts have not got to the couple yet as they were busy''.

*well, his tweet thanking the President started the rumour so its good he cleared it but i am sure he has benefitted from all the publicity..lol

  2. The president's team has just cautioned him cos they knw hw Nigerians will react to it, hence the need for the denial. Next time he shld learn not to talk carelessly cos they might not give him another job.

    2. Anon 6:13 , you are very smart. You took the word out of my mouth. The guy was really careless in tweeting about it. Knowing the way Nigerians are, government is so discreet about such spendings and I wonder why the dude came out to announce it to the world. It doesn't look like he's gonna get another job from them any time soon. He goofed big time.

  5. Na massive lie joooor ! Even the ones in this picture are 11.
He's trying to do damage control.
He was overexcited about the billions and tweeted it now he's trying to cover up. So what was in those many bags they were carrying. He can't say his twitter account was hacked na. People should fear God o. He has fked up big time. He didn't need to publicise the huge contract he got to do de fones.

  6. What's all this? So was he also contracted to make gift bags? The photo above has at least 11 iphones so why is he saying there were only 10? It doesn't make sense!

  10. Stella, even in that pic above there are 15 iphones and he said 10?....hmm....remember the 1st blog visitor who said she got a Gold plated iphone in her gift pack in that post of the crackers with mama peace face? Every one was criticising their gift but that blog visitor kept insisting she got an iphone as a souvenir, she even mentioned that there were electric kettles and smtn else I can't remember as souvenoirs......I seem to believe that blog visitor more cos even b4 the rumours started she had given us d info and if this guy could say he made thenand in the pic above I can see 15..then.....#ahdonbilivhim#....he's tryna cover up b4 e go be like say dem spend all our money......biko, oga jona, its okay 2 give ur daughter a wonderful wedding..its once in a lifetime event.....

    1. Abi o, guy no need to lie, oga Jona is entitled to give guests @ his daughter's wedding something that makes sense would have been disappointed if he hadn't, affter all he's d president. So nobody should dare to insult him.

    2. I wonder o.i was at the party. I went with my female boss that is dating Jonathan's .............

She got the iphone as per ......... when we were hanging out later at night. Her boyfriend was holding the phone too. I saw 2 of the phones live so if u believe that it was just 10 u will believe anything. I rest my case

  11. Story!!...10 iphone only,I don't believe it...where are all those people claiming that they got an iphone?...akuko na egwu...

  12. But from the pic above...there are more than 10 phones...#wedonhear!

  13. There are only 10 phones engraved with the couples names. The 11th phone in the picture does not have the name of the couple, it only has 24 carat gold engraved on it. So the 11th phone (in the middle) could not have been part of the wedding present.

  14. Waste of money to customise the phone.Do they think those that got the gold plated phone that will soon tarnish will be using it like that without changing the casing. In fact that will be immediately exception might be people like Nelly who will like to ram it down our throat like it is an achievement.
