Gov Orji Condoles Vice-President Namadi Sambo Over Brother's Death‏

Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji, has condoled Vice-President Namadi Sambo over the death of his immediate younger brother, Captain Sabo Sambo, who died recently in a ghastly car accident along Airport Road, Abuja.

Governor Orji who described late Sabo as a respectful and hard working gentleman, said his death was a huge loss to the aviation industry in the country.

The governor who disclosed this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, prayed God Almighty to grant the second family and the immediate family of deceased the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

"I received the news of the demise of your immediate younger brother with shock and disbelief. He was a fine pilot par excellence who until his untimely death showed strong commitment to the Nigerian project. Late Sabo's sudden death came at a time when his wealth of experience and expertise were needed in the development of the country's aviation industry.

"I pray God Almighty to grant his immediate family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Though his exit was painful but you should be comforted that he served his fatherland to the best of his ability. My heart felt sympathy
also goes to the government and people of Kaduna State. They should see their son's death as an act of God. I pray that his gentle soul rests in peace."

Chief T.A Orji is not owning any teacher any salaries.please for your information, you want to distract people from knowing the truth? The In the last six months, a lot has been done in the education sector and dont start telling us that governor T.A owes teachers salaries,he has been a lover of education and has been of the note that education is the key,he has even bought buses ,which takes students to school, too and fro ,as a gesture to encourage education ,and he has made sure salaries of teachers are paid as when due. Please nobody should mislead us from the truth.Governor T.A has been outstanding in the area of education as well, many school, secondary and primary have been renovated ,some new structures built to bring a facelift in the educational sector and we are not complaining about that.all we have to say is thank Ochendo Abia.

There is a functional free transport services for students in Aba and Umuahia and this has alleviated the financial burden on parents. Scholarships have been instituted by the government for bright indigenes of the state to pursue academic programmes locally and overseas. Renovation of public primary and secondary schools is a continuous process and many dilapidated schools have been renovated and some new structures have been erected to ensure maximum out input and out of educational sector, and many schools across the state of abia have benefitted from this gesture.

T.A Orji has demonstrated governance with clinical avoidance of uneven disposition of democratic and political influence in order to balance energetic sense of purpose with a concern for the service of others,he has been a father,a brother,a son and a lover of his people and brothers ,he has achieved that as a factor and it has yielded dividends ,we are happy because he is truly a democrat...we ask that he continue in that way to insure Abia competes with the best state in Nigeria. We also did not forget his effort in empowering the youths.W e are happy to hear all the feat. Its a thing of joy

  44. Abia State Government being piloted by Chief T. A. Orji is bent on providing the enabling environment for business to thrive in the state.
That is why many investors are now interested more than ever before in partnering with the state government. The government has signed MOUs with various companies within and outside the country willing to do business with the state. Not long ago,Golden Guinea Breweries would kick off production once again,it is under rehabilitation as i speak, Alkamali Oil of United Arab Emirate entered into partnership with Abia State towards exploring opportunities in the oil sector.

Ochendo Abia ,i like your way,you are the man of the people, the man for the youths of Abia state, what more can i say other than to let people know that T.A Orji also take the health sector seriously ; in the health sector, the governor has been able to take health care to the door step of many Abians by the building of over 250 health centres that are well equipped. Also, it is no longer contestable that the state today, is a high ranking health tourist centre because we have a world class diagnostic centre that has become a destination point for those seeking for health care. As I speak now, we are upgrading two hospitals, the General Hospital at Amachara and the one at Okikpe and the good news is also that the dialysis centre any moment from now, will be commissioned by Governor T.A. Orji. In fact, it is one of the projects the governor promised Abians during his electioneering campaigns.

  56. The Orji's administration, within the period of its liberation from the stranglehold of now expired political buccaneers, has shown determination to turn around the fortunes of an ordinarily promising state which suffered initial still-birth owing to the incompetent political midwives. But thank God as Ochendo has been able to restore the years eaten by the locust. From education to agriculture and power. From security to health ,commerce and industry, judiciary and infrastructure, the government has left its foot print in the mark of history book.

  71. Governor t a orji has done well in transforming Abia state,I regret to state that some of the commentators (by a section of the media though) on Abia Project is based on circumstantial evidence or hearsay and not on facts on the ground. If they could distance themselves from the evidence of a third party and come to Abia state to witness the actual happenings, their public perception of the events in Abia would be anything but prejudice; thus offering the reading public the best of their analyses on Project Abia.

Indeed, a trip to Abia will change the perception of some Lagos and Abuja based journalists who still mirror this God’s Own State from its position before 2007. It is worrisome to read that there are decaying infrastructure ie road, electricity, pipe-borne water etc in Abia when in actual fact the T A Orji’s government alone has provided more roads than all his predecessors (from 1991 when the state was created till date) put together. As at the last count, the 132KV at Ohiya substation that supplies electricity uninterruptedly to Umuahia, while the government had put up the machinery to provide pipe-borne water to the cities.

Today, every sector is being galvanized to achieve optimum result. Is it in health sector, education, agriculture, commerce and industry, housing, security etc that the government of Abia state is not prioritizing?

Time was when some people in the state particularly Aba fled the city because of the rampage of kidnappers. It took the intervention of T.A Orji with the support of the federal government and military to restore normalcy to the once dreaded city. Now that normalcy has been restored,

You may chose not to listen to me, but the truth MUST be told even to those who don't want to hear it. These peeople(your EX Governor) we know he is the ones who bring Abia State down. If you care to read what other Abians are saying about OUK,i mean people from Isuochi to Uturu to Isuikwuato to Ikwuano up-to the Akwa Ibom border towns. He was NON-PERFORMER and one of the WORST GOVERNOR Abia State has. Even if you like support OUK , that he is one of those who want to run Abia State down, instead of you to hear from sane, neutral and non-beneficiaries from his loots. I do not need him or his clique to succeed any more in their policitcal career,he and ROCHAS are birds of the same feather , OUK WAS THERE FOR EIGHT YEARS ,no good Good roads, Sanitized environment and clean water for people like abians, who live in ABIA, am contributing because I have empathy and feel for the less privileged who are being used, especially to campaign for a FAILED ex Governor who suppose to be a leader but FAILED LEADER and was accused that Okija shrine was his home, I am sorry for those who cannot see beyond their horizones...but i see T.A as the right man who has channel success in its right place.

As far as I'm concerned, you all have been making fools of yourselves. With the meagre resources the state has, he's done so much. Some ignorant ones will want to compare Abia to Akwa Ibom and I will ask them to compare N3bn monthly to almost N50bn naira monthly.
You people need to stop sounding stupid and try to read the news sometimes. Over dependence on Linda, Facebook, Twitter, elegushi etc is making you internet samurais more retarded than you already are. Come to Abuja and see jobless people like most of you blame Govt for all their failures. Loads of unemployable graduates everywhere moaning about their lot in life when they're actually too daft to get any meaningful employment. Even the clowns here who work, have u ever paid tax? Apart from the PAYE that structured organisations implement, would u pay on ur own? What right do u have to criticise govt when u r no better?
When u pee in gutters, throw stuff out of moving cars, clog gutters with sachet water, scheme to dupe customers or the next person, do you feel you are in a position to cast any stone?
You all live in glass houses, pls don't throw stones. Do your best to be model citizens first. The change you seek starts from YOU.
