Dead Baby Vanishes From German Hospital.

Marien hospital Herne.

The baby was on January 13,2014 operated on in Marien Hospital Herne but
 didn't survive the emergency operation.


When the parents arrived to pick up the corpse of their child,it was nowhere to be found…Till today the shocked hospital staff have no explanation as to what 
happened to the corpse.

The shocked parents took the hospital to court……..in German when a patient sues a hospital and wins,they never have to worry about money again for the rest of their lives.That is why Hospitals are always very careful how they handle people.

 The hospital just lost the case and have paid the parents what is referred to as ''Schmerzensgeld'' (pain money).

The amount paid cannot be disclosed as the dead baby's parents signed an undertaking not to reveal the sum.

    Am happy the family won. The most annoying part of this story was that despite the fact the body of the child was not seen. The family was sent a hospital bill to pay if no for the intervention of a lawyer. The chef of the hospital came out on punkt 12 to apologise that it was a mistake. May the soul of the little one rest in peace.

    One of the isolated cases but atleast their police and court works and will get to the root of the matter unlike our system in Nigeria. Such case happens in UK every time,a country where I waited for Ambulance for 9hours december 2011 to take me to hospital when I could not walk out of bed due to football injury pain, their excuse was ambulance service are busy due to snow means they are even not prepared to deal with patients during winter.

    It's possible the baby was discarded along with medical waste! What a horrible thing to happen! What negligence! Well hopefully they've learned their lesson.

    Wow, crazy story. I remember a story that happened somewhere in the Midwest last year, it was all over the news, the baby died during birth. The baby was lost too and found in the laundry (and this is not laundry done within the hospital, this is the laundry outsourced). It was a big scandal and embarrassment for the hospital. The story died eventually, I'm sure they got a big settlement. May God continue to guide and protect us.

    Wow my darling boy was circumcised in same hospital July 2013...thank God they parents won the case..how can such a thing happen...Rest in Peace little one
